Your explanation clears up the mystery and reveals a deep flaw of human nature that was exploited by the ultimate global psychopaths that controlledl the narrative and evil scientists (Fauci, et.al.), FDA, the W.H.O., CDC, etc.

Why do smart people fall for things like covid vaccines? Because they can't question authority any better than others. It has nothing to do with intelligence and everything to do with the ability to question authority.
Retsef Levi, Ron Unz & Jay Bhattacharya are great examples. Those dudes have IQ's about double mine and that's being generous to me LOL. Yet they all took the shots and I didn't. Fortunately they all stopped after 2 shots but still it left me going "WTF are they seeing that I'm not?" .
Most if not all the bright people I know had the same reasoning they did. "The data shows it works and it's safe". My answer was always "Without the raw data being released you can't verify any of the claims". They were literally TRUSTING Pfizer to be honest with the data. Not an approach I'd ever take.
When courts ordered it the raw data released it showed that Pfizer's product being injected was not the product tested but a different product with virtually no testing. Pfizer also knew that their product had negative efficacy in the 2 weeks following injections.
I can't give informed consent when information is withheld and I flatly refuse to do so. I highly suggest everyone do the same but our species is pathetically weak. 100,000+ years of tribal living has left 80-90% of the species caving in over peer pressure and the inability to question authority.
I canceled my Heath insurance. I don’t trust the medical community. Unfortunately, I have to use them for my husband that has dementia. Specialist after specialist, only to be told all this is normal. Nothing much can be done. So, we’re waiting on him to die.

Who says a majority of the people are still blindly trusting? It more than likely boils down to an avoidance mentality, most don't know the entire narrative about what's going on as they won't put in the time & effort to find the truth for themselves, they're too busy with family matters, matters of economics & earning a living, trying to maintain some semblance of sanity in their minds about seeing what they've been told all their lives go down the sh*tter; ergo I don't think it's necessarily a matter of blind trust for most (some do still cling to it I will admit) only because their weltanshauung demands strong leadership & someone directing everything for them.

Understood, but when it comes to medical, health-related issues, it's completely different.
