My child has NEVER seen ANY pediatrician since the second she took a breath
My child was taken to the Mother's room, I never left the room
NO doctor ever came into the room NONE
So I asked when can we go home?
we were there about 12 hours
THEY said the pediatrician has to sign off on the baby leaving the hospital
I told the nurse in real simple english
Who is going to stop me from leaving this hospital with my wife and baby?
THEY all looked at me like I had 3 heads
I said you can do your job but we are leaving
Still to this day the bill comes in the mail, pediatric doctor bill, way over $5500 now with interest, late fees etc lol lol lol This is one bill that I will NEVER pay

My daughter had home delivery for last 2 babies. She said the experienced for her and her husband was vastly superior to hospital delivery with the first 2. Cost was $2000 vs $13000-$15000 for hospital delivery.
Our medical system is beyond broken. It is a form of capitalism that will inherently make you and your children less healthy. And not in obvious ways. Look at the ridiculous vaccine schedule for children now, what is it up to 60 something vaccines by the time they reach 18. I have lost count. The effects of those shots can range from autism to asthma over a variable time span where the outward symptoms don’t show up for years. But the result always ends up being more money for the doctors and the healthcare system. Apparently, they are even extracting our money right from the beginning at the birthing process. What a business model for us; the more money we spend the worse our health becomes.

I recently bought Spiritual Midwifery by Ina May Gaskin, which has sold over a million copies. It is all about childbirth. I have had four children myself...three 26 hour labors and the last one at 42 was less than two hours. I should have had the baby at home. The difference was nutrition. Three years previously I totally changed my diet and started eating primarily, lots of fruit and vegetables...no meat, fish or poultry. I learned by the birth that my change of diet with lots of raw food really nourished the ligaments and bones in my body...and they stretched easily during childbirth. In doing nutritional consultations for 30 years, I passed my information along to others. One couple who both followed my nutrition information, had their own child at home. The baby was a very healthy eight pounder.

My grandparents were born in their farm homes without doctors or nurses and my dad was even born on the kitchen table in his parents house !!!
