There definitely needs some work done with the family on this, but have a way to at least make it inconvenient. Cats use litter boxes and eat cat food from a container on the floor. This bread is more dense. After the loaf cools, I put it in the fridge overnight and slice it thinly the following day. You can buy ancient-grain pasta as well, but eat sparingly. For pizza I use the cauliflower-crust recipe. It's works perfectly. You can get this at some commercial pizza outlet as well.
Don't eat at fast-food outlets or restaurants. You have no control over what they serve. Get back to the old habit of cooking from scratch. "You are what you eat."
