Trump isn't a partisan politician, that's what so many people on the right and left don't get. He's a businessman who understands you deal with reality as it exists, and you apply leverage in ways to help others get what they want while getting what you want. It's what makes him able to do what others think is impossible because they are stuck in partisan politics of left and right.

Trump is not a businessman. He is a conman who thinks "a good deal" is stiffing hardworking people and bankrupting small businesses.

That's a criminal not a businessman. I think you may be confused.

No, a criminal is someone who turns the White House into the nexus of global child sex trafficking, and parcels out departments of the family crime cartel to Liz (the wife) and Hunter and a couple others.

I understand he’s a businessman. As a politician, he’s gone after the low hanging fruit such as deportations. But his administration’s seeming disregard for the 1st amendment is outrageous. Additionally, I didn’t vote for Benjamin Netanyahu or Miriam adelson to make Israel great. His callous comments on Gazans and his continued help to slaughter these people disgust me, but this is just one persons opinion.

Lydia, news flash: friends can and do disagree. Politics used to be something people could disagree about and still be friends. That said, there has to be some common ground. Trump will offer the opposition opportunity to accept terms based on common best interest, and use leverage to help them understand why it is, but make no mistake… the art of the deal depends on real, not fake, consequences. That’s why it’s called leverage.

Lol, Carney is not that smart. He’s an elite collectivist global banker who thinks he’s smarter than everyone else and entitled to tell us all how to live. But to a degree you are right, it isn’t as if we haven’t seen this act played out in history before where a handful of elites think they can tell everyone else how to live. That’s why we have the second amendment. But Trump 2.0 understands perfectly what it’s like to be the target of tyranny. Relax and enjoy the show, spoiler alert: there will be a happy ending, no matter what happens, because in the end: God is in charge.

It may be that Trump wanted to draw the globalists out into the open when dealing with Canada. Carney is clearly a globalist. Poilievre claims not to be, but some have expressed doubt. That ambiguity might have concerned Trump. It's always harder to negotiate with an unknown. Or it may be that he recognized that Poilievre, even if a sincere nationalist, would have his hands tied by domestic politics. The irony here is that Canadians who voted Conservative might get a better deal with Carney negotiating rather than Poilievre, leaving Carney's Liberal voters holding the bag with no one to blame but themselves.

Carney is a master diplomat and let Trump ramble in his usual incoherent way. .Things like Canada would get a better health care system is totally wrong, while Canada's health care could be improved, It would not be by following the US model which has the highest percapita cost of the G7 and the worst outcomes with life expectancy in the US more than 4 years less than the rest of the G7, or maternity mortality rate around twice the rest of the G7 and for that the rest of the G7 pays around 60% of the cost for health care in the US. Trumps figure of Canadian exports to the US economy is only 4 % - when it is actually closer to 17 %. No Carney played Trump for the fool he is allowing him to ramble on spewing facts that are unsupported by anything other than Trump's ramblings.

Carney showed Trump to be the narcissistic psychopath he is. You can not have a conversation with such people, they only hear their own off key trumpet blowing in their ear. Trump squeaked in with only 1.5 % of the popular voter over his opponent and in a multiparty race where it is much harder to get a share of the popular vote Carney won by 2.4% When looking at approval vs disapproval ratings Trump is under water by 5% and Carney soaring above at 15% in the positive. Even anti Carney alt media sees Carny as having played Trump well.

Dealt with enough narcissistic psychopaths to know the best way to deal with them is to let them run off until they run over the cliff.

Did not vote for Carny's local candidate but have to say in the Trump/Carney show mine and the overwhelming global public opinion Carney far out performed Trump and demonstrated true skill and diplomacy.

So much for truth, reconciliation and meaningful moral strength. c an ada is caving on moral law under foreign direction and Trump need do nothing more than wait if honest people are still left in ca na da. ca na da is not being protected from enemies either foreign or domestic. Good thing the oath of allegiance is to the crown or they'd be breaking that oath right now if it was to the nation! Not that it would matter from an immoral view. ca na da is broken, period.
