Dr David Martin is the best, easy to listen to, on top of everything, the guy has a memory like no one else, and he is entertaining! I'd like to see him in court...
If the drug is a non-addictive fentanyl is it by prescription only, or available over the counter? I doubt that a drug that gets you high would be available over the counter.
It must have a similar effect if it’s a replacement for fentanyl.
If it’s a prescribed drug then a physician must write the prescription. I can’t imagine a young person, or anyone, making an appointment with an MD just to get a drug to get high, even if it’s non-addictive. No reputable physician would see patients who simply wanted a Rx to get high. If it is a drug meant for reducing pain the doctor still won’t hand it out without a good reason.
Sorry I’m so confused about this. Maybe someone can explain.

I guess I’m stupid. What drug is he talking about? Purdue has a patent on this drug, but not making it available to Rx for patients?
Oxycontin. Dr. David Martin wrote some details about it here: https://www.invertedalchemy.com/2018/09/addicted-to-deathpurdue-pharma-and.html
Oh! Just saw this. Thank you!
