I’ve been reading these DMSO miracle cures for years for pretty much everything without a single protocol on how or specific amounts. If this midwestern doc is so brilliant pushing the miracle cures for everything apparently using DMSO, why is the protocol missing🤔

If you read the Midwestern Doctor’s postings, you will find that he provides links to his protocols. I recommend that you search him on Substack to read his original postings.

Amen!!!!!! So glad someone said this part out loud-bravo!!! Such a concern for mankind but no formulas/suggestions and all under cloak and dagger to protect her/himself, medical practice and his/her patients. At this point, with the info dam breaking in the alt med world, protection from what and whom? And yet, most of the alt med practitioners are free with medical info and contact info. At minimum from AMD can’t even give surreptitious contact info for a consult? As if ANY articles he/she write, contain viable dosing info just innuendos, cases, research papers (I guess we now have to study how to read those beguiling tidbits of muddled info ourselves, for the untrained, an arduous task).

You’re making it more complicated than you need to. I use the gel topically (sore neck/back etc) and the liquid 1/2 tsp-1tsp in water for IBD on my 17yo old cat. He’s gone from daily diarrhea to maybe once a week. Not perfect but better enough that I cancelled his euthanasia appointment.

There are generalized dosing strategies in the AMD posts. You have to dig for them. He’s written over a million words on the topic with data to back it up.

Since it’s basically harmless unless you drown in it, here’s what I’ve done. Take it or leave it.

I started with a 50/50 dilution of 99.99% strength DMSO and distilled water. It will get warm when diluting it. That’s normal as is it freezing below 60°. Just warm it up in hit tap water. It won’t alter it.

Start low and build up remembering that whatever is on the skin will be transported into your tissues and bloodstream so make sure the application site is clean.

It is very drying because it transports the body oils back in as well. Minor flaking, itching and burning sensation may occur. It’s temporary.

When taking internally, I began with a 1/4 tsp in some OJ 2x a day. As I adjusted to the stuff, I increased it to 1/2 tsp 2x a day. Etc. you decide how much is enough. The general rule of thumb is more is not necessarily better. I’lll stay at 1 Tbsp 2x a day. That’s plenty. I’m also adding MCT oil in the same amounts. I take it like a big shot.

Pay attention to your body’s signals before, during and after taking it. Expect some adjustment time. Don’t take it undiluted. It is very irritating and tastes horrible. After all, it is a solvent with a history of healing and safety.

What ever you take with it will be carried along so ensure you tolerate that as well. The dosage depends on the individual so go low n slow. Keep track of how much and how you feel. PS. It’s much safer than Tylenol.

I'd like to know where to get dmso, in what form & dosage. Or is it best to visit a functional med doc?

I use DMSO for all kinds of things, but mostly for my CLL, which is luckily very indolent. That may be partly why the DMSO has helped to lower my lymphocyte count by about 1/3. That occurred by taking about 15ml of the liquid form twice a day from a shot glass after taking green tea and curcumin capsules. Those two things are specifically for CLL. I buy it on Amazon from dmsostore.com-the 32 oz plastic bottle but transfer it to a glass bottle when it arrives. Hope this helps.

If you subscribe to his post, he has a 50 page article covering treatment of most all ailments he knows about. The dosing is general and based on any side effects of the individual.

Carnivore diet helped me the most. I used the DMSO to treat my hemorrhoids and arthritis pain. All that is mostly gone now. Carnivore took all my inflammation away. It’s what eventually worked for me after years and years of problems.

That is good to hear. What you put in soil goes into the plants you eat. whats in the plants goes into the animals.

I saw some protocols in A Midwestern Doctor, but frustratingly non-specific, not very clear instructions However, for topical use like for a skin disease, a 50% dilution would be okay for external use. Don't know for how long. For internal use, a much lower dose, say start with 15% mixed in ionic water, which only means mix a cup of water with half teaspoon of salt. That's ionic. Mix your diluted DMSO with the salty water. Most DMSO comes in 98% strength. So dilute accordingly. DMSO penetrates skin really easily, so if you have a knee problem, just apply it to the skin of your knee. I think internal use might take weeks or months to see results. I applied DMSO to the skin surroundng my eyes, and to my eyelashes so a little bit got in my eyes, and saw immediate improvement, Less floaters and dry eye, right away.

Does anyone who recommend these take them? The odor is so bad from ingesting it that I do not know how it is possible to use it more than one or two times without abandoning it.

A word of caution….if you take internally it will cause your body to emit a ghastly odor.

Go figure. If big pharma. Urges patients instead of continuing the “make ‘em sicker then treat that” ad nauseam, then they would have to downgrade their private jets to 10 seaters and sell off their Epstein stocks, and set up a “go fund me” just to survive in their mansions in Martha’s Vineyard.
