Off topic but if pooping is harder because of being a few degrees from a squatting position imagine what giving birth flat on your back is like without the gravity assist of squatting.

Everything doctors touch goes to shit except paradoxically when people need to go for a shit.

Our babies were born on "birthing stools". At home, in a clean environment....using gravity to aid in the birth instead of working against it.

Midwives are far more likely to help with that. Hospital births are too risky, for a multitude of reasons!

I have a 100% full proof constipation treatment. Buy the greenest pineapple you can find. Not the yellow ones. The unripe green ones. The greener the better. Chop it up core and all. Throw it in the blender with water, ice, green bananas (not yellow), a hard unripe mango skin it chop it throw it in . A scoop of your favorite protein powder. Zip it up and drink. You're using unripe fruit because it's much less sugar and more enzymes. Drink nightly after dinner. This works fast and overnight have a bathroom nearby. You're welcome.

Even a spear of pineapple will do it--bromelain I think is it. There are some other benefits as well, menstrual, endometriosis, etc. It's a good addition to yogurt, frozen and shaved, which is very cost effective as a pineapple can yield a few weeks worth of breakfast "treatment".

Magnesium provides the moisture needed to mobilize the constipation that encloses the fiber provided by chia seeds and psyllium husks.

Exactly!

Neprinol up to 12 capsules with magnesium- taken on an empty stomach for several weeks - will clear the whole tract.

Clears the bloodstream as well.

Vonu's avatar

Neprinol contains no magnesium, being a collection of systemic enzymes.

I recommended to take Neprinol WITH magnesium. Yes, these are separate items which can be taken in tandem.

Taking them together doesn't make them work in tandem, unless you have an unusual definition of tandem, which means they work together.

My grandma used to say if you have a headache, you need a laxative. She may have been right.

However, I personally believe most OTC laxatives are too strong. Why not just eat a prune or drink some prune juice? Seems a lot gentler on the system. For some people, a cup of coffee does the trick.

Thank you for bringing up this foundational, unglamorous aspect of health! The brain, the liver, the immune system - nothing can function properly without waste removal.

Dr Mercola emphasizes that bacteria in the gut ferment the fiber in our foods to create fatty acids which nourish the gut lining cells.

Therefore proper vs. improper bacteria is a factor in colon function.

Dr Natasha Campbell-MacBride explains that when the lining of the small intestine has been damaged, enzymes are not secreted which breakdown carbohydrates, and these partially digested foods can become hazards.

Some people find that certain fibers (such as Metamucil / psyllium) are more constipating than relieving, and others find fruit fibers (such as banana or pineapple, etc) to be problematic.

Some people may simply not be producing the digestive enzymes necessary to break down their foods.

This is why I suggest the use of systemic enzymes (such as Neprinol) taken on an empty stomach, along with magnesium, over several weeks, to cleanse the entire tract of clogging, sticky food residues.

Then the addition of probiotics and healing foods can be of benefit for more complete digestion & elimination.

Was going to comment - but your comment is much better than what I would add - so thank you for clarifying this!

The usual advice to simply "eat more fiber" DOES NOT WORK for MANY people!

And the option to use enzymes makes sense - despite the lack of clinical evidence to support using enzymes for constipation. I'm looking deeper into that now...

Thank you for replying!

I originally used the Neprinol to clear my blood. As a massage therapist, I did not work during the pandemic. In late 2022, six months after returning to work, I was exhibiting unprecedented symptoms of spleen congestion & neurological impairment - which caused me to wonder about spike protein shedding from my clients!

I began with a high dose (12 capsules) of Neprinol & 1,200 mg of magnesium, taken each morning an hour before eating anything. The rest of my treatment consisted of plenty of water, many fish oils, intermittent fasting and colonics. I recovered.

Gradually over several months, I tapered down the enzyme dose.

What I noticed meantime is that a LOT of sludgy matter was exiting my system that did not appear to be recently eaten food. I concluded that the enzymes were clearing the crypts of my small intestine of accumulated residues & biofilms. All very gently. Yippee!

A nice side note is that apparently, serropeptase can break down microplastics. I suspect plastics are reinforcing biofilms & making it that much harder to maintain healthy microbiota - as well as circulation & brain health.

These enzymes have a number of benefits, such as preventing blood clots. I now take a maintenance dose.

That's great insight - thanks for sharing more.

I've taken a few enzymes here and there but your story is convincing me that it may be worth trying a bigger dose.

I didn't find much about enzymes for constipation mostly because it's not a pharmaceutical so there's no interest in running expensive studies on it.

Systemic enzymes - taken away from food & intended to affect the general circulation, or to lower inflammation, or to break down scar tissue - are used differently than digestive enzymes, which are taken with a meal. There is some overlap in types of enzymes used, but the effects are distinct.

I did not realize the Neprinol would help in all of the ways that it did!

Ideally , the diet would supply live enzymes, and some use juicing to increase the raw component of the diet while avoiding excess fiber.

FYI, Nattokinase digests up both spike protein and the pseudouridine of the mRNA strand that gives rise to it. Normally occurring body enzymes will not do this.

Up to 60% of the human adult body is water. According to Mitchell and others (1945), the brain and heart are composed of 73% water, and the lungs are about 83% water. The skin contains 64% water, muscles and kidneys are 79%, and even the bones are watery: 31%.

There no mention of the modern toilet which doesn't help! Toilets on the ground countries have no problems with constipation because squatting is much healthier for the heavens to open. These countries also are mostly agricultural country and still eat natural fresh food rather than supermarket bio-engineered food which is full of harmful chemicals and preservatives. VIVA AFRICA!

There is also the increasing incidence of incontinence which is an expensive quality of life wrecker and can result in urospesis. For females it is in epidemic proportions in Australia and exacerbated by failure to ensure access to public toilets (a serious public health and social inclusion issue).

Hydration and eating hydrating foods!

Magnesium and enzymes: either the fruit-based kind described below, or you can take a handful of Neprinol capsules on an empty stomach!

This will clean out your whole tract of built up residue.

Another approach is to get a colonic and/ or administer an enema.

All of these may be necessary.
