DMSO is a strong solvent for most plastics. Be very careful with plastic nebulizers. Certain plastics are OK with DMSO. As far as I know no one has published about DMSO-Safe Nebulizers.

I also heard that people suffering from long covid have a lot of spike protein in their body. Dr McCullough and his team have developed a product called Ultimate Spike Detox that you can get at The Wellness Company. Here is the podcast where I got the information from:

The Kraft process for making DMSO required the byproducts of wood pulp production, but those byproducts were then further reacted in the manufacturing of DMSO.

I bet the Dr.John types were the first to ridicule real doctors who were against mainstream safe & effective blood letting, to rid the body of evil spirits! Or the medical professional who ridiculed and ran Dr. Ignaz Semmelwise, the Hungarian physician and scientist, who was out of medicine, for promoting hand washing! And who said DMSO was a natural, God's food for medicine anyway?

DMSO is approved by the FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) for treating interstitial cystitis! (But not "Dr." John!

I bought a bottle of DMSO and it says it isn't for human consumption. I suppose they want to scare us from using it. My long time friend died from stage 4 COPD last Dec 26th, I found her dead in her apartment, it was horrible. If I had known about DMSO, I would have got her to inhale it to clear her lungs, she was 75 but she still had life left in her.

Stanley Jacob, MD, FACS, pioneered the medicinal use of DMSO. He has passed away, but his lab still produces DMSO and his books. (Jacoblab.com) It is a bit more expensive but hopefully more reliable than others. I bought some dmso from a local Tractor Supply store and it smelled different from what I had gotten from Jacob Labs. We threw it away. Having the properties that it does, we didn’t want to mess around with an inferior or adulterated product.

DMSO is often mislabeled as “natural” because it’s derived from wood pulp, but this is misleading. While its precursor is natural, DMSO itself is a highly processed industrial solvent that doesn’t exist in nature. Calling it “natural” creates false safety assumptions—much like calling plastic safe because it comes from crude oil.

Its ability to penetrate cell membranes and carry substances—including toxins—into the bloodstream is both its power and its risk. Claims that it “breaks bacterial defenses” or enhances antibiotic efficacy sound impressive, but these effects aren’t automatically beneficial. Making antibiotics more potent can also amplify toxicity, side effects, or resistance.

That said, none of this means DMSO has no value. In emergencies or with informed, cautious use, it can be helpful. But promoting it as a safe, natural cure-all is scientifically inaccurate and potentially misleading.

Ahhhh… another allopathic opinion. It is a miracle molecule that the FDA and MD’s want you to fear. A Midwester Doctor goes into the risks of using DMSO as does Dr Morton Walker DMSO Nature’s Healer and Dr Stanley W Jacob in his book DMSO in Trauma and Disease. Yes you need to be aware to buy pure grade, not industrial. Yes, clean your skin for topical and be wary of concentrations. It can be used orally, IV and topically. In 60 years there has been one death of a lady in Ireland that was ill and on many medications. She was taking DMSO and died but cause of death was never established. So, in 1965 the FDA ordered all research stopped. How many deaths and kidney failure from Tylenol?

My girl friend and I have had foot pain for over 30 years. After topical application of 70%, pain free. She had gone to an MD that was a guru of foot pain. He gave her an injection, great shoe advice and wrote her a prescription. The drug was black boxed by the FDA. Her heart surgeon warned her about it.

I am using DMSO topically to resolve erectile dysfunction due to statin use. If everyone had healthy levels of super hormone D3 and Lugols Iodine cancer would be crushed. If people were aware of DMSO and chlorine dioxide oncologists would be flipping hamburgers. MD’s and hospitals are the leading cause of death in the USA.

How do you buy DMSO safely and in what form (liquid gel cream?) to apply to areas like the knee or feet 0 or even hands and is there a form that includes glutathione? I went on Amazon and looked at reviews which were not positive. Also if you want an inhaler version is there a specific product you recommend and is dosing related to weight? My niece has asthma.

🙏❤️ Great post!

I've seen some articles that it can help with lung disease. My son has had lung problems.

I would like to please add a Disclaimer, because some people mistakenly think "more is better":

"DMSO has a dose-dependent inhibitory effect on lung ventilation. Higher doses can significantly impair or severely dampen respiration, particularly affecting the tidal volume component.

In some studies, DMSO has been shown to potentiate toxicity when used in conjunction with certain substances like bleomycin or BHT.

Important Considerations:

Dosage is crucial:

The effects of DMSO on the lungs are dose-dependent, with lower doses potentially beneficial and higher doses potentially harmful.

Individual responses vary:

Not everyone responds to DMSO in the same way. Some individuals may experience adverse respiratory effects at lower doses than others."

I’ve been reading these newsletters for some time and the information is good but the actual practicality of using it in specific instances is lacking. So the conundrum is we want to use it but how? How do you use it with a nebulizer? How much do you take orally and for what symptoms? Who actually knows any of this?

I had similar questions. Seems I read a version of this article before someplace and at the time I think I recall concluding that the original Medwestern Doctor substack articles may have such details and I probably need to get smart about DMSO. But to access the detail may require the paid form of subscription. Since I know someone with serious asthma and COPD I made a mental note that "maybe I should get the paid MidwesternDoctor subscriptions to get access to detail". These are just fuzzy remembrances I have but could be incorrect so don't hold me to ANYTHING I just said. All that said one must assume there is detail about DMSO someplace since those who use it must be following a protocol. Like everything, particularly if it is cheap and effective it is all kept a well hidden secret

Herbs and tinctures and treatments that pharma isn't responsible for have been around as long as humans have been on the planet, and yes.....there are a great many of us who have not only "heard of " them, but.....surprise and shock....we've been using them all along! Don't forget to consider the fraud factor involved in [so-called] "medicine." As in the 62 billion in fraud fines, which our leading cause of iatrogenic medicine gives us! I.e., killing 12.5 million to 20 million in just the last 50 years! To which most would say, "I never heard of that." (See: Dr. Null's book Death by Medicine, abstract: "The total number of iatrogenic deaths shown in the following table is 783,936. It is evident that the American medical system is the leading cause of death and injury in the United States.
