For many this information is reaching them far too late. I don't know any families that this has not devastated. The chemical and cellular problems of the brain need a lot more investigation into the cause of instability in our society. TDS and the queer mentality is made a joke about in society. I believe it is a very serious problem for us and affected the lives of our country and really needs to be studied and I am one that would not be surprised to see it tied to these meds

The Medical industry is based on the Creation of Money. Its goal makes money of prime importance. Anything conflicting with its goal is not accepted. People have to realize that their good health is of no concern to the Medical Industry. The Medical Industry is into the promotion of its money making products. It spends billions bringing its erroneous information via TV into people's homes...and makes many more billions from people who trust it's information. Medical schools fail to teach their students information related to keeping people healthy. It appears that many doctors don't even know how the body actually works. People trust doctors, because of their years of education. However, I wonder about the information they learned. Our government backs the Medical industry for monetary reasons. Everything the Medical Industry does... is based on selling expensive drugs, vaccines and promoting expensive treatments...which have nothing to do with the Creation of Health.

I tend to agree with you Barbara. I have been a medical info geek most of my life. Between Ill parents, research & some medical training it seems quite obvious I’ve read more than what 1/2 of the GP’s know. Try asking questions (knowing the answer already) they get very defensive and run out of time. No trust here.

I know what you mean...When I asked questions, doctors couldn't answer...I was told, "Don't you worry your little head about this, I'm the doctor." In other cases, I have received answers to questions ...that showed how little they knew. I don't believe that many doctors really know how the human body works...

About doctors who are specialists who focus on one part of the body. It would be like going to an automobile mechanic... who only knew how about how the oil lubrication system works. I believe doctors should learn how the whole body works along with what fuel the human body needs in order to be healthy and stay well.

I get so sick of hearing that. So they basically have 12 years more of student loans for a sheep skins hide to hang on the wall that says they can pass the book smart test and lab rats live or die you own it ! But the problem is that they neglect to get the common sense test.

The information doctors receive regarding drugs and vaccines comes from the drug reps who work for Big Pharma...and there are perks for promoting Big Pharma's products.

Peter Breggin wrote ground-breaking books about the tragedy of psych meds and one that focused on methods for getting off them safely, though the books are a couple of decades old. One of the findings that stuck with me had to do with neural networks. The brain adapts by creating such networks on demand, so to speak, to support frequent "activity." A responsive adaptation. Imaging of these networks over time in psych med users showed that the neural networks continually decreased in density over time, like an old-time telephone switchboard with fewer and fewer cables to carry calls. Perhaps this is the physical side of the numbing. I wonder if more recent research has taken this phenomenon to a deeper level.

The biggest problem here is that we're treating a spiritual disorder with chemicals and poisons. Once we're able to restore our spiritual connection, the physical ailments resolve themselves. Here are a few articles to help:

I believe that! A lot of what they are calling mental illness is a lack of spiritual support and guidance for their lives. Loss of a direction and purpose and lack of goals with a lot attributed to the electronic devices and lacking of personal connections

And behind that often generational family dynamics of abuse and scapegoating (ptsd, cptsd).

I was on anti depressants for over 20 years, until about 12 years ago, when I decided to take myself off them. It was easy to do. Reduce your tablets by 1/4 tablet each week. If you feel that you are losing it, go back on full strength immediately and then try again in a few weeks time. You must not exceed more than 1/4 tablet reduction each week, until you are finally off them. You will be very emotional, I'm a male and emotionally I'm a tough guy, but even now I can burst into tears for no apparent reason. I like to think I am more human than I was before and I'm not ashamed to show my true feelings, when this happens.

There was a guy in America on the same tablets as me, he was prescribed them by a Trick Cyclist (Psychiatrist) you know, they ride around on a bicycle in your head (English Humour) and he was on a much stronger dose than me. One day the Trick Cyclist cancelled his tablets without winding him down, as above and he went and bought himself a rifle and lots of bullets, went up a tower overlooking a popular square in some American city and shot down killing 9 or 10 people.

When he went up before The Beak (Judge) he got life in prison and when asked why, he said he was a peaceful person and never killed anything his whole life long and he had no idea why he behaved as he did - but I know why, it was because his Trick Cyclist did not slowly reduce his tablets, as I have discussed above and going from the antidepressant support to none at all, immediately, fucked with his mind, because, as this substack discusses, these tablets change your mind and your personality and you have to treat them with caution, especially when you come off them.

The person who should have been put in prison for life was his Trick Cyclist who got off scott free.

For many, discontinuation is easy as you describe. However such blanket advice can have debilitating or deadly consequences for a non-trivial subset who need to taper in a hyperbolic manner and over the course of, in some cases, many years in order to come out (mostly) intact at the end. See Dr Mark Horowitz (author of recently published Maudsley Deprescribing Guidelines) Dr Josef Witt-Doerring (runs The Taper Clinic and is on YouTube) or the site survivingantidepressants.org to learn more

Now add the same harmful effects of the rest of psychiatric meds: anti-psychotics, stimulants, tranquilizers, mood stabilizers, etc.

I have known about the dangers of these drugs since the 70s. Have donated to groups that have been sued for trying to expose this. Citizens Commission For Human Rights has been one of the that started educating people about this issue in the late 80s when these drugs started being given out like candy. I discovered that the main reason that Scientology has been massively attacked by the media (that is supported mainly by drug company commercials) is because the FIRST thing they do is get people off of drugs or anti-depressants! The next thing they do is teach people how to study. Something that even I was not taught even though I graduated from college with a teaching degree. Next, they show people how they can find out for themselves the reasons WHY they get depressed and how to easily get rid of depression WITHOUT drugs. They have been successful at doing this since the early 1950s when the DIY book Dianetics was first published. Unfortunately, this process takes HUGE profits away from drug companies so they have been attacked ever since. I was taking valium, smoking pot and drinking too much back in 1976 when I first read that book. Stopped immediately and never needed to do that again. My life has been so much happier ever since. SO GLAD to see this information FINALLY getting out to be public knowledge. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR PUBLISHING THIS!

I was on these meds for over 20 years and finally got off them by tapering very slowly cut the pills in quarters or even less every other month, the key is if you are on a Extended release version you need to make a switch to non-extended release version that can be cut down. PLEASE! Realize ER version's CANNOT BE CUT!!

One of my kids has ADHD and ODD. Years ago he was prescribed different meds to help him focus in school. None worked as the doctor said they would. The last one he took made him so violent he had to be hospitalized. Worse…the doctor wanted to continue giving it to him in the hospital until his dad and I threatened a lawsuit. He hasn’t taken anything like that since. We found a wonderful child psychologist who helped him more than any medication could. My son liked the psychologist so much that they stayed in touch until he retired last year.

Knew a nice guy. He had issues that bothered him. To address them, he started studying other people's ideas of what should be done about it. Well into his studies, he switched from focusing on himself to focusing on everyone else. This is said to be an all too common problem in this industry.

That, alone, should give people pause, before taking what mental health professionals promote as fact.

"If this is the “gold standard” for treating depression, what does that say about psychiatry?" Excellent question. I am a psychotherapist, and total anti-antidepressants. I am seeing more clients who are also anti-meds. Clinicians who are not on board with that must not trust their ability to help these people with therapy and modalities thay don't involve medicating. BTW, the only way to heal is by facing your feelings, thoughts, fears. Meds cover them all up.

Thank you for sharing. Jerry Kazinsky (Mazinsky?) was a licensed psychiatrist in "criminally insane" prisons and hospitals and would talk to the "schizophrenic" personalities and came to the conclusion that it's actually entities. Just as we hear from Toltecs and Gnostics, and he tried to help them but was reprimanded and told he can only prescribe them Prozac. He disobeyed, they yanked his license and now he helps people without the BS Beast System permission. Seems they all open up portals for mind parasites. Along with alcohol, drugs, fear porn and of course some AI.

My daughter was automatically supplied with a few Valium pills (part of the pharmacy prep pack) prior to having her wisdom teeth out. We ignored them and just dealt with the pain meds and antibiotics. I mentioned this in another thread and was attacked for “withholding support” from her. She and I had discussed it, and it was her decision. We both felt there are better ways to handle normal situational anxiety than popping a pill

Yeah I was on sertraline for years, all through my second pregnancy, not good, I think I've mentioned on here before but I am now off all meds and so are my kids and we did it through homeopathy and grounding. I think if you can and this would have helped me- is getting out of the rat race, moving to the country, finding your roots that would have helped me straight off but we weren't able to do it so thank you universe for revealing homeopathy and grounding to me and that's why I mention these therapies whenever I can for any one person out there that needs them too!

The drug companies are demonstrably venal and in many instances evil, as any right thinking person knows, however they couldn’t function without your local doctor.

Very few people make the connection and continue to trust these people because they have a “personal” relationship and emotional connection and dependence on them. Your local doctor knows this and exploits it , consciously usually, and sometimes unconsciously. Any doubts or qualms of conscience the doctor may have are covered by a blanket “its the best we have/had at the time” rationalisation, which justifies pretty much anything.

People need to stop trusting their local doctor, they are the devil’s handmaiden in many cases, owned mentally and often financially by the drug companies.

So much this. Every time I get that "well, my doctor isn't like that and would never do that" the nasty part of my brain thinks "just because you let them put their finger in your ass once a year doesn't mean you have something special with them, idiot". Of course I don't say it.

Sadly the current generation on the cusp of adulthood (teens) have been bombarded by drug ads that seem to imply everyone should just be popping pills to be ‘happy’ and ‘normal’ because otherwise you’re doomed to being unhappy and abnormal. I know a 15 year old daughter that thinks she needs counseling and anxiety/depression drugs because she has fights with her friends. When I try to tell her that’s just part of being a teenaged girl, she mocks me & says I was never ‘normal’ and don’t know what I’m talking about. She scoffs at the thought that prayer and even sunshine can help with any emotional distress she has. It’s drugs and/or counseling or nothing. No efforts to get her to regulate her own emotions or see how her own actions cause some (most) of her distress. Just, ‘give me the pills & let me vent my feelings to a stranger’.
