I’m so extremely happy that this info is finally getting out! Everyone should read Dimethyl Sulfoxide (DMSO) in Trauma and Disease by Dr Stanley W Jacob and Jack C. de la Torre. It repairs DNA, fixes misfolded proteins, matures immature cells, helps chemo target only cancer cells while protecting the rest of the cells from damage (protects cells from radiation) & has been shown to kill cancer cells on its own! https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9801450/

It’s truly an amazing natural substance that comes from the cell wall of trees!!

How do I find a doctor willing to give DMSO to my husband dying of Pulmonary Fibrosis in need of a lung transplant! Why all the hidden mysteries surrounding A Midwestern Doctor!?

Expand full comment
Kate's avatar

The mystery surrounding Midwestern Dr could be because if doctors don’t toe the line they get their license revoked by state boards, or they work for big corporations that demand they follow a protocol set out by big pharma.

I am not a doctor and this is not medical advice Just a little bit of knowledge passed on so you could do your own research. From the studies, I’ve read the DMSO should be in conjunction with chemo or radiation because it helps protect all the cells in the body and organs from the treatments so that people don’t end up like your husband.

That being said, I’m not sure you’ll find a Doctor who will break protocol to help your husband so that means it’s in your hands. I’m going to suggest you watch the documentary TheUniversalAntidote.com that’s how I found out about DMSO. I can’t recall if it’s mentioned in the documentary however I read a book by Jim Humble on the product NASA dubbed the universal antidote a.k.a. chlorine dioxide. Which then led me to a 60 Minutes interview from the 80s with a man named Dr. Stanley W Jacob and the many uses and applications of DMSO.

Chlorine dioxide might help with your husband’s condition so please watch the documentary. When it comes to our loved ones lives we must be diligent and do our own research because unfortunately our doctors are trained using textbooks that are mostly written by pharmaceutical companies like MERCK.

I pray this info helps your husband! The NIH has a website that holds a humongous number of studies and clinical trials that’s free to access called Pubmed. When searching on the site, please don’t just read the headings because they can be very misleading. You must click on the studies or trials and read the information contained within the papers.

Here’s a link to the website and a study I found that will get you started! https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38444065/

My prayers and thoughts are with you as I wish you nothing but the best for you and your husband!

You won’t. Doctors lose their licenses when they go against “standard of care” with any condition. We have to save ourselves. Luckily the information is out there.

Amazing. Some years ago, I had to have two laparoscopies to treat endometriosis. Now, I think one of my daughters has it. DMSO would be great!

The DMSO story sounds like ivermectin (different cures). How many lives could have been saved by it or HCQ during C19? I believe IVM saved me. I was just fortunate enough to know NOT to go to the hospital when I became quite ill - my O2 was dropping - and get IVM (and a Z-pak). I turned around within 24 hours. Hospitals withheld what worked and, intentionally, did the “negative!”

My story on Ivermectin is identical. Now I treat nine friends with cancer with Ivermectin and Fenbendozal not lost one of them yet after 5 years.

I started using DMSO topically for my thyroid, placing it on my neck in front of where the thyroid is located. I'd been on supplemental thyroid hormones for 40 years to treat hypothyroidism and couldn't function without them. But after I'd been using DMSO I began to have symptoms of hyperthyroidism, and it became obvious that I was now getting too much thyroid hormone. Even after I switched to a lower dose of my thyroid meds the symptoms not only persisted but grew worse. I finally got to the point that taking thyroid meds made me too sick to function. I have finally stopped taking any treatment for hypothyroidism and remain symptom free. And while I can't prove that DMSO healed my thyroid I can say that the healing began after I started using it. I don't really know what to think about this. For decades I'd been told that my thyroid would never function normally again. But it is.

What about the thyroid atrophy due to hormonal replacement lasted 20years ? Can the thyroid gland go back to normal with DMSO?

Expand full comment
Suzanne J Patterson's avatar

That's an excellent question, and I wish that I had an answer for you. But this is all new to me. I will say that from what I've learned about hypothyroidism my thyroid may not have been completely non-functioning. Some with hypothyroidism just produce less than optimal levels of thyroid hormones as opposed to being completely non-functioning. And I've been careful over the years to get the nutrients the thyroid needs to function properly (iodine, taurine, selenium, zinc, etc.) Cutting down drastically on the consumption of oxalate-rich foods has helped as well. But even with all those things I still needed thyroid replacement hormones until now.

I'm pretty sure mine is the non- functional type especially if the endocrinologist has kept my tsh levels near zero for so many years 😔

I started using DMSO without doing much research and pretty much winged it with dosing and type of product. I already knew that it would carry anything on my hands or skin into the body with it, so I chose a roll-on product containing 99.995% pharmaceutical grade liquid DMSO. In hindsight I would have chosen a lower % of DMSO to start. But it worked and I'm still learning. Interestingly, despite the high dose I'm using, my skin hasn't suffered much from dryness which Amandha Vollmer cautioned about in her book. That could be related to the product itself, or it could simply be that my body is able to produce enough moisture to overcome the effect.

Thanks Suzanne, I'll start looking into it - probably begin with a 50% solution when I manage to get hold of a pure product here (Australia)🙏

I had my blood work done and the results were the best ever for me. My free T3 was at the top of the range for the first time ever. I'd always tested mid-range at best. My free T4 was almost as good. And I'm actually feeling better than when I started this thread. I'm amazed.

I get my dmso from dmsostore.com but you can also get off Amazon. I wish I knew a doctor or therapist that could administer this intravenously as I’ve been drinking a 1/4-1/2 teaspoon in my coffee daily to replace MS medicine I’ve been on for over a decade. I was dx in 1991. I’ve stopped all pharma poisons & use this instead. Takes some getting used to but the reward is worth it. My bf is in the hospital w/cirrhosis & isn’t responding to treatment very well & fear he’s in his final stages. Please share if anyone can post about intravenous “doctors“ bc hospitals will not prescribe this!😪🙏🏼

I had a boiling water burn on my wrist and applied 100% DMSO immediately with great success, no redness or swelling..

Topically as stated before it rapidly absorbes through the skin and will carry anything there with it. I believe there was a fatal care with nicotine fingers and DMSO.

Side effects ? A garlic taste, slight burning and itching at the site as it does release histamines locally .

I found DMSO in gel form at Tractor Supply in the horse section. White bottle with blue writing. It works very fast on my fingers when arthritis attacks. I have bad varicose veins in the backs of my lower thighs from sitting in a chair for hours in front of Zoom Court during Covid. I would love to find out where I could get DMSO intravenously to shrink the veins. They are unsightly and can be painful when I have to sit. Back in the late 1960’s, my mid-40’s mother was convinced by her So. California Kaiser doctor to have her varicose veins stripped. The procedure failed and she had numbness in her right foot that led in later life to her not being able to feel her foot at all. She started walking on the side of her foot, leading another doctor to make her wear a brace. It seems to me that DMSO is the miracle cure for varicose veins with no surgery.

Just a side note here believe it or not, some pharmaceutical companies & the FDA at the time really did want to do studies with this product however, our Congress has tied the FDA’s hands by stating that the FDA cannot investigate nor approve anything that could be detrimental to the pharmaceutical industry.

I would like to think that Congress had good intentions when doing this meaning if there was a product created by any of the pharmaceutical companies that was more harmful than beneficial they couldn’t approve it because it would harm the whole industry. Instead, it seems to have turned out that they use this statement in reverse meaning by approving and/or researching a product that could reverse or help your body to cure itself that would be detrimental to the pharmaceutical industry.

For more information on this research who the head of the FDA was at the time they tried to get DMSO approved. That’s how I found out about Congress and what they had done. I can’t remember who the head was at that time nor what paper wrote the article I believe it was right up after the man had died explaining all the things he had done at the FDA that was good and why certain things weren’t allowed to be investigated.

I take a half teaspoon in a shot glass with about a teaspoon of water. DMSO has a sort of slightly sweet metallic taste. I can always taste it. That's the only drawback. It gives me energy and stamina. But for me the main thing is that it gets rid of pain. I have tendonitis and it was preventing me from exercising. Now I can work out again. That's important to me.

Methanesulfonylmethane (MSM, methylsulfone) is far more readily available, and does not cause garlic breath. Dissolve in water, drink, follow with plain water to wash out the nasty taste.

You mean MSM does the same or similar as DMSO?

SaHiB's avatar

Worked for the pain of my cracked ribs. Just the sulfone as opposed to sulfoxide. Since DMSO can get reduced to DMS, I would also expect Me2SO2 can get reduced to DMSO.

Thank you. And, you drank it, not rub it on. External use of MSM would need same cleaning skin precautions I guess. But drinking DMSO or MSM doesn’t absorb whatever is in a mouth or throat? Thanks. I must have read too much overly cautious info.

I've been using DMSO for over 2 years, I drink it with magnesium and vitamin D. I use 50/50 as eye drops, I use it on my hair, my face and my neck. Combine this with magnesium (been on magnesium for 4 years), me and my partner (both are over 66) now feel as if we are in our 30's. But if one chose not to believe it, then I guess they're already residing in the belief system they are willing to manifest.
