DMSO works! I used it after I did a marathon run in 1981...and I could barely hobble. it took away the pain very rapidly. Something which many don't know...the wrong foods can cause pain, too. Since doctors don't study nutrition, when you go to them for help you will be handed a prescription for pain killer, when it would have been safer to receive info related to avoid eating the wrong foods, which created pain. Grain = Pain...I got arthritis from eating bread. When I stopped the bread the agony I experienced in my elbows and restriction in lifting my arms up...was gone within a couple weeks. A few months later, I added back the bread and in a couple weeks...the same pain and restriction occurred. so, I stopped eating grains. There is a good book called Dangerous Grains by James Braly M.D. and Ron Hoggan, M.A. which tells about the 200 diseases, which are caused by eating grains. The nightshades can also cause pain. They contain solanine, which is toxic...and can harm the joints. I experienced a problem, when I was eating jalapeno peppers...ankle got very sore and couldn't walk. I eliminated them and it took awhile, before I could walk without pain. The wrong foods must be eliminated...Pain pills remove pain, but the wrong foods will keep on harming the body.

I love these articles from you, VF and Midwestern Doc. Thank you!

What I don't like is that there's never a recommendation on where to safely buy the product.

Could you please let us know?

TVM 😘

Amazon has it - but get Natures Gift gel or DMSO Store liquid. These are the only ones Midwest Dr recommends. Do not buy DMSO store.com - it’s not the same company.

Ebay also has it. Also, be careful not to spill it. It literally ate into my wooden dresser. It did scare me at that point.

The DMSOstore.com has exact same label as the one on Amazon that you mentioned. Is there a better brand than this for the liquid?

I have two bottles in my possession of DMSO from DMSO Store sold on Amazon that are glass.

Then take up your argument with The Midwest Dr. I’m only passing along the info he stated several times in his articles. Also the liquid from DMSO Store is in a glass bottle. You’re welcome!

A Midwest Dr recommends these company and says they use plastic which is not affected by DMSO. I’m sure you know that not all plastics are the same composition.

Plastics aren’t ideal and fortunately the work has been done to identify safer “non flexible” types. To each his own as far as using a Pet/Pete for safest plastic vs glass. Your link to DMSO is great for chemistry breakdown but doesn’t include storage evaluations.

Thank you VF for sharing the essays by A Midwestern Doctor (and her links) to the severely maligned miracle medicine like DMSO! She is well worth the subscription as well as the read on everything she researched and writes.

I guess I was a young teenager or in high school when the DMSO rage hit the news. I remember the news reports and the warnings that it was a dangerous cleaning fluid (I think) on one side. On the other side all these people swearing it would a magic elixir that cured everything. Too good to be true. I remember people smuggling it and selling it on the black market. Then it disappeared. That was sixty years ago. This is first I’ve heard of it since then. Looks like the FDA succeeded. How do I get some. I’d love to try it on my neuropathy on my feet

"Hurt people hurt. "

So they, the abusers, better watch out . All their painkillers only mask the sensations of illness, while DMSO can actually heal.

As a side note, I have found that a one-off dose of ivermectin completely removes toothache/gum pain in hours, and it remains permanently.

Kudos to VF and Midwestern Doc. I started using the gel months ago, and there are so many things it just works immediately for, I won't bore you with a list. A major thing is pain, and it's not short of miraculous. One thing I have to do if I am using it over a sizable area of skin is put down some coconut oil first, otherwise I can get a pretty good rash if used for several days.

We used DMSO as a mainstay treatment for numerous conditions internally and externally on our very expensive show horses. In the equestrian world DMSO has a very long history of use.

I recently got DMSO at the DMSO STORE, set of 3 bottles, came in plastic. Also got a set of small glass bottles, all from Amazon. Am transferring from the plastic to the glass bottles. Have not had any problems using it externally. I would not recommend taking it internally, although some have done it. It rapidly transits the skin and goes throughout the body, so I do not apply too much at one time, so using a cotton square and gloves, I would apply to a small section of an extremity or two and see how it goes. Important to dilute in distilled water before using. I start with a 50/50 dilution which works for me, and can strengthen if I want to.

Twatter XXX still suspends my account, despite several appeals, for suggesting ivermectin have human use to avert blindness from onchocerciasis. They call that "advocating suicide". Deport Elon Musk to South Africa ASAP!

The reason why Omura Satoshi and William Campbell were awarded the Nobel Prize was both chemistry and humanitarian, which saved a large number of Africans who would have become blind by preventing onchocercia.

It is also possible that the pharmaceutical company is rich in funding and individually acquires submission checkers.

Exactly. But Jack Dorsey, Elon Musk, Linda Yaccarino, and their "Blue Checks" assert ivermectin have no human use.

Thanks for all you are doing. Are there any articles or studies about DMSO healing the gut? If so how was DMSO applied. I am thinking about these kids with autism. I hear that autistic peole have gut dysbiosis and leaky gut which keeps them from absorbing nutrients sufficiently. This would be a great help if DMSO heals the gut. I have several family members with autism. If this topic has been covered where can I find the links. God bless, Claire

I use DMSO every day. I did tons of research for pain, since the doctors were useless on this issue. I have back problems and all the doctors wanted to do was give me opioids. I refused that and did my own research.

Expand full comment
John Duffey's avatar

Do you take it orally? I have had two back operations and the chronic pain has made me rely on opioids if I want to be able to accomplish anything. I would like to see if it would work by diluting it with maybe using a couple of teaspoons in a glass of water. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Expand full comment
SamIam's avatar

Not orally. I have only been using it about three months and I started slow. I have been down many rabbit holes for my back pain. I refuse opioids except when I get completely non-functional, then I will cut one in half. I saw someone here soaks cottonballs in 100% and applies it to the source of pain. I started doing that and it helps. Doesn't cure. I also use Lions Main (a mushroom); Also LifeWave IceWave with X39 patches. I was pretty desperate to get my life back after getting hurt in Jan 21. I also have stenosis and two surgeries. All of the above plus making sure my inflammation is under control. I went on a whole30 diet and found that dairy would make me flare up big time. Bit by bit, I am getting better. PT did not help me, at all. I found more useful info on Youtube than in the doctor's office.

SamIam's avatar

Before any naysayers gets on here and accuses me of pushing the LifeWave, Know this...I will not buy via a multi level marking plan. I buy my patches on Ebay. When I first tried these a good friend of mine who is a distributer gave me (free) over 100 patches of various types. I was able to try them out for several weeks. I don't buy them through him, but went on-line to find where I could get them with no obligation. Ebay is what I found. Prices vary, but they are cheaper there than through a distributer. They are not cheap, but I am willing to pay the $$ to be able to function.
