Too bad it’s prescription only. XClear and Povidone iodine also work and are OTC. I use it whenever I fly. Haven’t had covid since 2021.

I am glad someone else read the info about Xlear kills Covid... been telling people this since I read about it in 2020! Even if you get Covid, it helps you get over it much quicker!

I used to be seriously addicted, physically or psychologically, not sure, to feeling I needed to use Afrin nasal spray to sleep. Chronic pulled breathing. Xclear has saved me. My health, my sanity & the repair of swollen nasal cavities.. Simple, healing sugar water, in the simplest of terms. Povidone Iodine Nasal Spray is our go to, whenever with a sick family member & to shorten any bugs we feel may be developing.

Afrin is a tough one to kick. Tough to get away from. There's a bit of a rebound effect sometimes with it. I've needed to use it at night too, that was when I'd plug up for some reason I never figured out. 12 hours later I'd have the fight with myself: can I stand mouth breathing part of my work day? Argh.

You won't need Afrin ever again once you get X-l-e-a-r. Just get the regular formula. The "rescue" kind is too strong and can burn your nasal passageways. And do not forget the nasal wash. I use it before bedtime and it helps me breathe all night long.

It's just spelled "Xlear," without a "C." Been using it for years to unstuck a stuffy nose. The X-l-e-a-r nasal wash is a must-have before bedtime.

You can buy it without a prescription - good deal for three bottles at Costco. My wife and I have used it for allergies for 25 years.

Here in California, nasal spray azelastine has been OTC and available on Costco shelves for last few years.

Check out Astepro brand on Amazon and Costco. That it the OTC authorized brand nasal spray.

You're using a relative risk reduction rather than an absolute risk reduction.
