Anyone remember people talking about "2A solutions" during the Tea Party days (anyone think it was "liberals" or democrats that were using that kind of language)?
Anyone think that that kind of rhetoric behind closed doors has changed or gone away?
The truth is that powerful forces have been driving the division for decades because it's good for corporate media profits, and it's good for both parties - of whom have largely abandoned the common economic interests of average working people.
And it is irresponsible, bad faith media actors that exploit this division for clicks today.
