I was dismissive of Fetterman when he was elected and didn't condemn the ridicule he got.

He now seems like a genuinely great guy, who unexpectedly tells the truths that his party refuses to speak.

Fetterman, underneath the funky clothing, is a yinzer first and foremost. His belief in the American ideals of hard work, honesty, and fairness hold firm. Being a MAGA man through and through, I'm proud to call John my hometown bud.

John Fetterman represents his constituents, not the DemocRATS and their perverse values. God bless him for speaking out.

Wouldn’t it be great if a majority of Democrats were like Fetterman? Like in the past? Instead now we’ve got a bunch of socialists who believe men can become women and that the American taxpayers should support illegal immigrants.

They were always on a path to socialism, hate and division. Before this mess, they were into racial segregation, kay kk (ex: Sen Byrd, aka exalted cyclops Kay kk and good friend of JB).

Your site is wonderful and I visit it almost everyday. I would upgrade to a paid subscription if I could afford to do so. However, due to a multiple of variables in my life I now find myself at 72 years of age with very limited income, which I must spend wisely in order to keep food on the table and the rent paid. Thank you though for allowing me to view & read the free edition.

My story too. Maybe journalists putting more pressure on Trump and pols to quit giving money to Israel, Ukraine and everyone else except Americans, would help. Those of us having to live on $1500 SS, after a lifetime of paying more taxes than we took in income, deserve getting a much bigger cut, along with veterans, and other countries deserve none of our money.

I admire him for speaking his truth, and his honesty and compassion. He is pleading with his party to move past all this division, and be a party for the people. He cares about the people he serves, and is genuine. I am a Republican, and really like this guy!

Yes, what a difference. I never believed he would recover from the stroke to this extent, and show us the rationally thinking person that he is. It is a blessing for him.

Fetterman and Steve Smith are the only two Democrats so far that I see being sane, balanced, and want to work towards a common goal - the betterment of ALL Americans. Bring back the Democrat Party pre-1980's, before the unhinged progressive Communist wing started taking over the message and agenda.

This replacement Fetterman is way better than the old one. At least he can put a sentence together. 🙌🏻✝️

As far as upgrading goes, it probably won’t happen. My wife, who is better at keeping a handle on our finances than I am, recently showed me a list of my expenditures on political donations, charitable donations, and SubStack subscriptions. It ran into many thousands of dollars, dollars that are incompatible with living on Social Security and our savings. I had to cut back on political donations and SubStack subscriptions. She and I agreed that the charitable contributions are worthy of our support and would continue.

Sorry that I can’t help, I enjoy your work very much!

Have a great and blessed day, everyone!

Regards, Andy

Leave the dark side, John. Your party has lost all reason and logic. You can't change them. The rules of common sense and decency are things they no longer follow or understand. Return back to your conservative roots before it's too late. You're better than this. However, I do applaud you for trying.

At least there is a little bit of sanity among the demonrats. I just wish he had more respect for his office and at least wear a sport coat rather than that ghetto hoodie.

At this point, I'd argue that Congress does not deserve much respect...

I agree that individual congressmen do not deserve any respect at all. However, if we are going to have a Republic, I believe we must respect the office those people hold, then do whatever is lawful to force them to defend their oath OR prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law as the law demands.

Fetterman is hard for me to figure out. During his crazy campaign, health issues, insane comments, and his Addams' Family appearance, i figured 'typical democrat'. But now he's saying all the right things. Which one is real? Is he the fox trying to get into the henhouse?
