Part of the problem is that vaccinology is based on the repeatable and verifiable science that if you inject foreign proteins (or the message to make them) into the body, you will get a serum antibody response. The science then morphs into religious zealotry with the idea that those serum antibodies will protect the injected person from becoming infected and spreading it to others, none of which is true. From 2005-2010 I conducted some “research” prompted by my primary care physician suggesting a flu shot which I declined. During those 5 years I saw 20 physicians in a variety of specialties. I asked each of them 1. Do you or your family get a flu shot? 2. If not, why not? If so, why?
100% said neither they or their families get flu shots. Most reasoned to me that they skip it because they don’t usually get the flu and if they do get it they just live through it, no big deal.
The religion of vaccine goes even further, back to the origin of sciences, back to Rothschilds who funded modern parasites study, which funded our understanding of germs.

Measles is a respiratory disease, transmitted when people cough the virus into the air and others breathe it in. Sanitation and clean water can prevent water-borne diseases, but not respiratory ones.
The measles pathogen, like that which causes pertussis, evolved over the years to become less virulent. That serves the interests of the pathogen to propagate itself widely. If it kills quickly, it can no longer do so, so less virulent strains gain the advantage.
Nutritional status is important in favoring recovery, permitting a healthy immune system to do its job. The individual immune systems developed both specific and non-specific immunity.
It is a mistake to think that there is any silver bullet. Good nutritional status will help you, but the major childhood killers in the late nineteenth century were smallpox, diphtheria, measles, pertussis, and scarlet fever. Hundreds of thousands of well-nourished, breast-fed children died of them. All respiratory diseases. All except diphtheria became less virulent by natural processes in the pathogens. I think the DT series of vaccines (no pertussis) is a good idea after the age of three. People are going to turn away from most vaccines, which is good, but diphtheria will come back and it and tetanus are worth vaccinating for. Wound hygiene is good and necessary, but half of tetanus cases are from inapparent wounds or those too deep to be cleaned.
Why did the death rate for measles decline before the vaccine was introduced? In addition to better sanitation, food, etc, it is likely that the intelligent immune systems of the masses developed natural antibodies.
Am in GA and allergic to many inhalants here.. not in NJ, not in NC. Get allergy shots. For many years. Now questioning that wisdom. Pine and Bermuda grasses, dust, mold seem to be the culprits. Seasonal issues.
