The Endocannabinoid system promotes homeostasis and fights inflammation. The exact thing every pharmaceutical has on its label. Fights inflammation. Bullshit. Chemicals (synthetics) cause inflammation. It fits their business model too.
I get it from a health food store here in South America. It's in a plain brown bottle that just has a hand printed label that says DMSO $5.00. I take half a teaspoon in a teaspoon of water once a day. I also use DMSO cream to spot treat and my husband ordered it from Amazon and it's from the US. It would probably work for dogs, but I would have no idea of the dosage. You could add a drop to the drinking water and gradually increase it if you're seeing results.
You can search the dmsostore.com. I believe that is the brand that the Midwest Dr. has used. The store has lots of different types, diluted and non diluted, etc. I use the 70/30 roll on that has aloe vera in it. I have not tried taking it internally. The Midwest Dr. Substack has lots of articles on DMSO so you can get a more in-depth look on his Stack. Thank you Vigilant Fox for this excellent summary of the MWD's writings.
The cream can only be applied topically. It's not to be taken internally. I apply the cream to any sore spot before bed and it works almost instantly. The half teaspoon of liquid DMSO I put in a shot glass with a teaspoon of water and drink it in the morning.
We've been using the topical with good results (hurting knees, kitchen burns, skin issues, etc) ... what results do you feel you're seeing/experiencing with the oral route, if you don't mind sharing?
I have tendonitis, so the oral dose works all over. It's better than putting cream everywhere. I use the cream on sore spots. I injured my shoulder and it benefits from the cream as well as the oral dose.
I was having terrible pain in my right hand and then it started in the left hand, several times in the middle of the night. The first DMSO product I had purchased was 100% liquid but I decided to give the 70/30 gel a try. The first night, I applied it to my cervical spine C5,6,7 (knowing for a long time that I had herniated disks there). I had NO pain that first night and have been using it ever since, on my knees, my feet, etc. The DMSO Store has a low odor version and doesn't give (us anyway) the garlic or oyster smell.
I know what pain is...I suffered from excruciating migraines for 30 years, until I changed my diet and have not had one migraine in the last 32 years. In addition, in 1986, at 52 I wound up experiencing horrendous pain in my elbows...and could not lift my arms up, because of the pain. I got rid of it too by examining my diet and removing the culprit, which caused it. Many "good" foods cause pain...and people run to the doctor for a pain pill. I don't take drugs...because I have always been aware they have side effects...and can damage the internal organs. in many cases, pain is caused by food and doctors don't study nutrition, so they prescribe pain pills. They can alleviate pain, but will set you up for future problems. When I experienced extreme pain, after doing a marathon run, and could barely walk I used DMSO, which took away the pain immediately.
Tylenol does not work (is not analgesic), is the major cause of need for liver transplants, and greatly exacerbates vaccine injuries. Good question why it's OTC while Durham-Humphrey persists! Tell RFK, Jr.!
DMSO is great stuff. I have used it in combination with Chlorine Dioxide to eliminate a very stubborn skin condition I have suffered with for 14 years-as it carries the medicine deep into the tissue's.
Rx grade DMSO 100% can be drank but should absolutely be diluted. The best advice comes from: The DMSO Handbook: A New Paradigm in Healthcare Paperback. In this book it claims that up to 15ml of Rx dmso can be drank diluted. I myself use around 1ml in a cup of green tea each morning with a touch of honey for taste. For topical use I use 70% dmso gel which is available on ebay, amazon, etc. One of the things about Dmso is that it’s an antioxident, but can be used directly with h2o2 hydrogen peroxide, a super oxident. Now this is externally! One must be very careful about drinking even 3% h2o2 due to it’s super oxident behavior. Generally it’s ok to put 6-12 drops of 3% h2o2 hydrogen peroxide in a glass of water using food grade h2o2. This is done by itself not mixed with dmso. Do the dmso drink and h2o2 drink 8 hours apart. DMSO also can be used externally with CDC or mms1 or mms2 the chlorine dioxide group but again not together if taken orally. Dmso and h2o2 and or CDC group can be administered as infusions but not together but in alternating visits dmso this week h2o2 next week, dmso next week, cdc the next week and so on. When I use dmso externally I first rub the 70% on then immediately spray on 3% h2o2 and rub them both in together. Oddly h2o2 doesn’t dilute the strength of dmso like water does.
There’s no risk to combining dmso and h2o2 for external use the body deals with it safely. Internal use orally together puts a tough load on the liver. Dmso strengthens everything it mixes with and penetrates skin or cells easily and quickly! Remember dmso is a strange solvent that binds with water better than water itself and disolves both water based organics and also oil and fat based which water won’t. So don’t put your DMSO on your mother’s coffee table! Keep it (the container)safely on something it won’t dissolve like glass. Be careful what you touch when it’s on your hands! Always put something over it when applied topically like a shirt or pants or PJs! And when using with h2o2 remember hydrogen peroxide will bleach things of their color! Like your hair or your new blue towels! etc.
If your using dmso internally you should also be cautious as to the supplements and any adverse effects that may arise when using dmso together. Dmso easily enters your body topically and gets in your blood quickly and with high efficacy. So it need not be taken orally to be very effective. Also always wash your skin and rinse thoroughly before applying topically, it will take anything on your skin into your system with it! Basically after 5 minutes or so topical dmso is gone and in your system so the residue can be washed off sooner than you realize. Also dmso can burn when applied to very light skin and other sensitive areas so if this happens it generally lasts 10 minutes approx. don’t be alarmed just dilute it with some water down from the 7O% topical for those spots. Never apply any dmso over 70% on your skin it will burn and tingle like hell. I could go on all day. Hope this helps
My husband was skeptical of it when he had an aching lower back, but I rubbed some on at 100% strength and it wasn't even 5 minutes before he said it felt a lot better. After one more application later that day, his back was just fine. He's a true believer now, and is now using it on his shoulder that he wrenched recently. It can cause some redness on the skin, but it goes away after a while.
Hi Crystal. I started off taking a teaspoon in organic fruit juice [it tastes terrible]...once per day....and gradually increased. I couldn't give up my morning coffee....so I wait for 2 hours after I've had a coffee [so the DMSO doesn't take as much caffeine etc in to my cells]...and then take the DMSO. I now take up to 2 tablespoons per day....with NO side effects....whatsoever....apart from eliminating quite chronic back, hip and knee pain. It takes up to an hour to really kick in....so I save up all my chores and excercise in the gym etc...for then lol.
I have not noticed any improvement in my golfers elbow from topical DMSO. But it has shrunk a mast cell tumor to almost nothing on my dog. I just apply it every night.
Great contents. The truth seekers got red killed about the medical prostitutes, the rest, will just have to learn the hard way..even with their effing lives not to be called conspiracy theorists.
Edited. Num Lock was off, so "1918" didn't appear.
Of course it is (toxic; it is effective, however)! It caused, or at least contributed to, most of the deaths in the 1918 pandemic. It's antipyretic, and thus immunosuppressive. (Blocks interferon.) But at least it isn't hepatotoxic.
DMSO and CBD.

Our immune system is designed with nature in mind. Not synthetics.
You are what you eat, or consume.
It’s just common sense.
We are just scratching the surface on micro dosing. Not just mushrooms (hallucinogenic) and mental health.
Pharmaceuticals are reasonable facsimiles of nature. Synthetics.
Because you can’t patent a plant.
I use DMSO and really like it.
Can you tell me where you purchased it and what dosage you use? Also, would it work for dogs? I have a senior dog with joint issues.

I grow my own organic food and buy from organic farmers who have let me observe their operations and fields.

I bought some but don't know how to use it???
If it's liquid I would start with a few drops in a glass of water. Tune in to your body and monitor your progress based on how you feel.
Do you drink it or apply it

Hubby is doing the same ... the CDS/DMSO combo for skin issue. So far, so good ... we're seeing some improvement.
Celery and fennel seeds are the best anti-inflammatories I have found.

How do you use DMSO, I know a lady who could really use it for her pain in her back

What about aspirin? Is it also toxic and ineffective?
Edited. Num Lock was off, so "1918" didn't appear.
