As an employed physician all my life we were always pressured to vote for Democrats and higher Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements. Meanwhile businessmen started their HMOs taking huge amounts of money out of reimbursements for Doctors, Nurses, Physician assistants, Physical therapists, nurses aides, pharmacists etc. This is why HMO executives making $20 million dollars a year denying cancer therapy are getting shot.
