I had pain and tingling from my left elbow up into my neck and was diagnosed a year ago with cervical spondylosis. The only recommendation from my doctor was to put heat on it.
As soon as I removed the heat, the pain and tingling would come back.
After doing my own research, I started applying DMSO. Within 3 days, the tingling was gone and within 5 days, the pain was gone. The pain came back twice in the next few months and just 2 days of DMSO resolved it again. It’s now been over 6 months since I’ve had any pain or tingling.
DMSO, or dimethyl sulfoxide, is derived from lignin, a natural polymer found in trees, particularly softwoods like pine. It is produced as a by-product during the paper-making process, specifically from a substance known as "black liquor."

DMSO is not made in a lab, so I don’t believe it can realistically considered as a drug
The definition of a drug is a substance which is not a food, but exerts a physiological effect. Opium, coca, tobacco, etc. are not made in a lab. Get a better dictionary! And DMSO requires chemical processing of the reaction product of sodium sulfite and lignin.
1b(3). Same as I said. No requirement it be synthetic. If you want to be technical, a "drug" is something whose casks are dragged. Thus, a "drug on the market" is a drag on the market. Lignin contains methoxy groups, whose methyls are transferred to sulfur.
"Jackson’s doctors CAN'T EXPLAIN how he went from a quadriplegic to a walking, self-sufficient person again."
What, is that doctor BLIND or just deliberately ignoring the obvious? More and more, it's become obvious that doctors LIE to keep their good standing with Pharma. It's beyond infuriating!
There was a new random control trial released showing lifestyle changes and certain supplements radically improved dementia patients. Our geriatrician knew nothing of it :(
I want to know how to find practitioners who know how to use and prescribe DMSO. I have used it topically on and off with some success, took it orally- but it is very difficult to stomach. I would be interested in learning more about IV therapy!!
I have 2 bottles of DMSO here but I'm worried if someone is on prescribed drugs for high blood pressure for instance, will the DMSO interfere with that or any other prescribed drugs. Im not on anything but my husband is.
Dr. Berg tells how to use it in one of his 5-minute videos on the wonders of Black Seed Oil … he suggests using DMSO with Black Seed Oil. It took me months to finally get the 2 products, but, wow, I am so glad that I did … try to find that Dr. Berg video … wish I had the link for you.
The DMSO/Black Seed Oil combo has REALLY helped the arthritis I have in my left thumb. Yeah!
Joasis , there are many links in this article with instructions . but I will give you what I do .
I dilute DMSO with with water , oz. per oz , so use 2oz. DMSO and 2 oz. water (filtered or distilled). mix in glass jar . I use clean hands and fingers , to tap and rub on the spot , you want your solution to be about 50% , other wise it stings , very uncomfortable . let it dry , and rub what is left into your hand and fingers , helpfup for the joints in your fingers and hands .
For headaches, rub a few drops across your forehead , gone !
Rub on foot wherever it hurts .
Rub on back wherever it has pain , let dry .
You can do this as often as you want . I use 50% , dilute your 99% with the same amount of water . I have found that any % higher than 50% stings so I stay at the 50% for comfort .
I so appreciate this article. One of the best things to come out of that nightmare Covid era was my eyes opening to alternative medicine and homeopathy. I learned about DMSO about a year ago and bought a book on it but have not read it yet. Looking forward to getting through the book and giving DMSO a try. I'm hoping it helps with my knee issues. Red light therapy has been a big help but I need a little more.
I'd say it's very individual. I drank a liter of filtered / RO water with a few ml of DMSO and CDS (a gulp every hour, not close to eating times) every day for a month, and it cleared what felt like an onset of prostate cancer (incl. blood in sperm; scary stuff). Within a week, in fact. So I can believe that it does release oxygen into affected tissue incl. tumors.
Tried to add it to hair oils, no improvement.
Added a few drops to eye drops for floaters etc., made things worse.
Protocols are quite unclear, I agree. Best find an experienced natural medicine practitioner and discuss.
I can help with the eye drops . you can put 50% diluted on TOP of the eye lid < not in the eye . But if you want to make eye drops , you will need a eye dropper with a bottle , I made them using a 5% solution , I used 9 1/2 teaspoons of filtered sterilized water + 1/2 teaspoon of 99% DMSO I found this info in MWD articles. I used the solution. until it was gone , and switched to putting the 50% on my eyelids , much easier .
I am allergic to Sulfa, is sulfoxide the same thing or something close to it that I shouldn’t take it? I also have High blood pressure and don’t want anything to interfere with that. One more thing, how do you find a doctor who is knowledgeable about it and know how to dose it?
Margaret , I am allergic to sulfa drugs but not to DMSO , two different things . as far as finding a MD you have to get past their "bias" to "their protocols." big pHARMa only believes in their DRUGS , DMSO is natural . they do not acknowledge it except to carry organs in transplants.

This is a miracle drug!
DMSO is a wonder substance. It’s not a drug.

It was on 60 Minutes in the 1960’s. Why was this substance buried?
My father used to use it for muscle/joint pain in the 70's-80's. It was available OTC. Nobody thought it was dangerous then.
Silly. DMSO has physiological effect, and is not a food, so of course it's a drug.

They don't want/not allowed to know; it's not in their approved 'toolbox'.
right. and it's also become obvious that their "toolbox" basically sucks.

Hannhlehigh , I take BP meds and use it and have even ingested it , no side effects
Thanks for the info.
Okay, i'm sold on DMSO. I have some in my pantry.
Is there anyplace that gives instruction on how to use it?
My interests:
Can it help my dropfoot (nicked nerve during back surgery)?
How do i treat the occasional migraine?
Does it help gout?

What happens to our medical systems when DMSO cures. Nothing to see here. Carry on.
Cured is not medically defined for any disease that can be cured by DMSO.
DMSO is not approved as a cure for any disease - so no cured case can be recognized.
Our medical systems have no method to diagnose CURED for any individual case of disease.
No medical doctor can diagnose any case of non-infectious disease cured - and have the cured case officially recognized.
No doctor, no clinic, no hospital, no medical system, no insurance company counts cured cases. Cured cases don't count and are not counted.
Nothing to see here. Carry on.

That is highly unlikely .
I tried DMSO but it didn’t work for me.
