Not one person involved in this did the right thing. Not one. No one has the right to use their car to obstruct traffic or law enforcement doing their work or to drive off when a law enforcement officer directs you to get out of your car. That said, doing any of those things does not justify being killed for doing them.
Law enforcement is trained never to get in front or behind a vehicle because they could be harmed or killed by the vehicle (which is a weapon) backing up or driving away.
Everyone involved in this incident made really bad choices. The cop had a gun and Renee had an SUV so everyone was technically armed and then everyone did exactly the wrong thing. Those two women should not have been doing all they could to obstruct traffic and law enforcement officers all day long but ICE officers should have ignored them instead of taking their bait.
