These are deep blue states and districts. In some cases places Biden carried by 16 points in 2020.

This isn't a sign of the midterms.

However, we (MAGA, Conservatives, GOP) need to stay active and involved. No time to sit anything out.

If we vote in the midterms we'll deliver another devastating blow to the Left.

So let's stay engsged.

People forgot how bad Trump is last year so they voted him in, and the current results are a direct reflection of Trump's (un)popularity while he is actually in office. The unwanted truth is still the truth.

You can't even put a lucid sentence together. Biden's Handlers dug a pretty deep hole and nearly buried America. President Trump is doing his utmost to get America back in the race. The only Platform the Democrats had: Open the Borders to drug traffickers and worse! Multi-millions came... crime and chaos escalated. If President Trump had not won...it would have been the end of Americsa..

The talking point that democrats have is that it's Trump. That's it. Hatred.

I'm thinking there will be a political nuclear bomb dropping soon. Here's an opinion piece on it from a left leaning paper. This hearing was a few weeks ago. https://www.sfchronicle.com/opinion/openforum/article/supreme-court-proposition-50-california-21124614.php

I’m not following. What specifics? I’m not hearing any. Trumps approval ratings are up. His first admin was marred by traitors in his admin. This time he is surrounded by patriots. To say Trump is unpopular is to be grossly misinformed.

Anyone with a modicum of honesty and understanding of basic math will agree that all the data supports what I said: Trump is only (mildly) popular when people forget how bad he is, but he's deeply unpopular when he's actually in power. https://www.realclearpolling.com/polls/approval/donald-trump/approval-rating

Well if polls can be trusted then I guess people hate lower gas prices and lower grocery prices like eggs. And I guess they hate a peace accord in the Middle East and I guess they hate how manufacturing and jobs are coming back to America. I guess they love that they have to share their hard-earned income with illegal aliens who are given everything they need so they don’t have to work. I guess they love that American culture is disappearing and hate God. So, yeah. Now it’s your turn to explain why Trump is “bad.”

"Now it’s your turn to explain why Trump is “bad.”

Because Gadwall, 35million vaxxed are dead. Millions of Americans are sick or their loved ones are dying.

Funeral Directors are ordering 30% more Infant-Child size coffins, up from the 20% increase in 2023.

And there never was a virus.

Or a need for lockdowns, masking or vaxxines.

So why is Donald Trump STILL LYING to the American people and telling them there's a deadly virus and to take the genocidal vaxxines?

Trump launched Operation Warp Speed as a strategic move to prevent a decade-long global lockdown, a lesser evil compared to the alternative of prolonged pandemic restrictions. He initiated the program to accelerate vaccine development, which typically takes 5 to 10 years, to limit lockdowns to only 10–12 months instead of a decade, which would have been the end of freedom in America for good. Unfortunately, there are always casualties in a war.

Looks like mid terms is affordability, affordability, affordability.

Dems want full on Marxist cancer. They don’t care if they kill the host. They just want to steal as much as fast as they can. They think they are the Bolsheviks, not the Mensheviks.

RINOs want low grade Marxist cancer so they cash in on cures and stay in Quisling secondary power with “fixes” for problems they caused. They want Trump to deport Dems replacement Marxist numbers to a more manageable number and then a Cornyn-Bush amnesty for the rest.

Trump is trying to cure the Marxist cancer.

O’Reilly makes an interesting point. And his example of tariffs is also…possible. No doubt lots of things to consider here. But I don’t think this is that complicated.

The democrats were supposed to win these elections. This was always the most likely outcome. Blue states elect democrats. Virginia is not as purple as people want to believe, BTW.

So it’s not telling or predictive of the mid terms because there were no upsets here. Period. Democrats know that they’re in deep trouble or nationally. That’s why they’re out there right now trying to show a dem win in a dem state/city is somehow an upset victory for them.

Don’t fall for that bullshit.

Kim Di Giacomo's avatar

Fair take from O’Reilly. People are reading too much into these state races, the real story between now and the midterms will be the economy. If the Supreme Court clears the way for Trump’s tariff plan and prices actually start to fall, that alone could flip the national mood.

Voters aren’t ideological right now; they’re exhausted and just want proof the system still works for ordinary people. Democrats had a strong night, no doubt, but if wallets feel different a year from now, the map could look very different too.

In the recent election GOP voters did not have big turn outs in VA or NJ. Why? Getting GOP voters amped up to support a losing cause is not a good political strategy. It's frustrates the voters and wastes their time and the party's resources. That election had no major impact on national politics, despite the Democratic Communist propaganda media trying to brainwash the low information voters. Both those states are bastions of Democratic lunacy. VA especially because they elected Jay "two bullets" Jones as their AG and that can only be described as insanity. That's NOT representative of America as a nation and Americans as God-fearing people.

In many respects it's a win for the GOP. Why? Even if Winsome-Earle had won in Virginia and Ciattarelli in NJ, they'd have to deal with majority Democratic legislatures, entrenched Democratic political machines and a YUGE Democratic welfare state. It would allow the Democrats to put them and by association the entire GOP under a microscope like they do Trump and when they block their efforts to keep their election promises, they will say "see, we told you so"! How would that be a win for the GOP in those states? They'd use that to their advantage in the midterms.

No, saving your powder for bigger battles is a wise decision. We'll see a much different approach in the mid-terms because the GOP will make it about the issues and not about Trump. And that will be easy because the Democrats still have no vision for America other than HATE Trump and a horrible track record for creating problems instead of solving them.

Now President Trump and the GOP can kick back and watch the Democrats do what they have been doing for decades; shooting themselves in the foot by creating more problems than they solve. Kamala-hahaha lost the election to Trump the moment she was asked what she would do different and she said she wouldn't do anything different. In the midterms the GOP will be the ones be saying "see, we told you so"!
