I have used this stuff for years to great effect and have shared it with everyone who will listen. After having 2 wisdom teeth pulled at once, I refused the pain meds and antibiotics and used nothing but a saline rinse and DMSO to have 0 pain, swelling, or infection, and have it heal up in record time. Get it. Use it. You won't regret it.
The brand I linked is the DMSO Store brand, one of three recommended by the author of this Substack and the one he uses himself. It can probably be purchased directly through DMSO Store, though in this case Amazon is just distributing the product.
Funny, I used to browse on Amazon and then [try] to buy directly from the vendor. In one case the vendor only sold through Amazon and in another my order from the vendors website was fulfilled by Amazon. In many cases it’s simply cheaper for the vendor to let Amazon deal with shipping and distribution logistics.
I'm trying to create anastetics dental replacement for pain..please specify precisely how you administered yourself the saline rinse..was it sea salt ie s tsp per 8 oz or? And how much DMSO ie before ,during after procedure? How much ? Pure or diluted? Like a couple capfuls then held for a minute in tooth area and spit or what? How many times did you take DMSO during hour procedure?
I was having some aching in my upper jaw due to clenching my teeth at night (I wear a night guard) but I dipped my fingertip in DMSO and rubbed it on my gums and I kid you not: instant relief!
Tastes absolutely awful, but since I read A Midwestern Doctor's article on DMSO I've been taking a Tbsp orally every morning on waking with a water chaser. It's the worst tasting stuff ever but it rinses away quickly enough and I feel great so I don't see any reason to stop! I get the 99% pure from the DMSO Store on Amazon.
I love DMSO and AMWD! My husband was reading their stuff about DMSO last year, and we started giving it to our two-year-old daughter Betsy, who has Down Syndrome. We have definitely seen an uptick in her development! I write a blog here on Substack called The Upside Downs, all about how we're raising her as non-medically as possible. DMSO has been a game-changer for us. So glad to see more people talking about it!
After reading the first of AMD's essays, I started using it topically for a knee that hurt 95% of my waking life. When I noticed life improving in that area (now I get surprised when that knee twinges), I started using it, diluted to ~30%, on my face, taking care to deliberately get some in my eyes to address a new diagnosis (that came from my ophthalmologist buying new equipment. He subsequently stopped accepting my insurance, so I can't provide a follow-up).
Continuing my reading, I decided to try it orally, determining the dose by muscle-testing. Because I wasn't having any particular symptoms, it's hard to say what was healed, but my general well-being and energy levels increased.
Now I apply it to tiny traumas before they bruise and make ugly old-woman marks. Those injuries don't bruise, and any skin breaks heal easily.
and you can buy it at a hardware store as it is used in thinning paint and penetrating wood. It's called Dimethyl Sulfoxide, I think you'll need to buy a gallon, but ask.
DMSO immediately helped my eyesight by improving contrast after I just put a little above my ankle. I used it to help recovery from a ruptured achilles tendon that is still weak after healing. It helped right away (feels springier and less stiff). Then I gave it to my husband to regrow hair on top of his head and it's working! Smelly of course - he uses a lot on top of his head and wipes it on the towels- but after a while the smell subsides and he has some new fluffy hair on top of his head! Also great for muscle strains. I experimented with putting it right into my eyes and wasn't sure - a little irritating possibly because of my homemade saline; I'm looking for a commercial saline to try with it and then I will add some of the clear undiluted DMSO to the saline. Also trying it for loosening and hopefully shrinking belly fat. It does seem looser. Last night I found a study saying you have to make the concentration pretty strong and massage it into the belly - they did a 20 min. massage and then a spray and final massage - the jury is still out on this application but I am hoping.
I highly recommend (CANADIAN) Amandha Vollmer's book "Healing with DMSO", published in 2020. She is a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. Her book explains EVERYTHING you need to know about DMSO. I ordered "20% DMSO Saline Eye Drops".....remarkable!!
I started learning about and using DMSO about 3-4 years ago. I've used it for different reasons. One impressive result using it was when I cut my index finger on the side of the knuckle. It was a deep cut. I didn't want to go to a clinic (during plandemic time), so I saturated the cut with DMSO, used a 'butterfly' bandage approach with tape to pull the side of the cut together as best as I could, and then stabilized the joint to keep it from moving in order to keep the cut closed as best as possible. The end result.... the skin healed, there was no inflammation to deal with, and you cannot see where the cut was... No scarring!
I have also been using DMSO of late for an allergic reaction on my skin, which caused redness, a blistering-type rash, and extreme itching... It is in the process of healing at this time.
I use DMSO for any places that I suffer a bruising-type injury (always bumping things at work), which has kept the area free from discoloration.
I used it to stop a cold sore that was starting to develop, which stopped it from going full steam ahead.
I have also been applying it to varicose veins, which have not progressed and even appear to have recouped somewhat.
Thank you for this compilation of information... I am needing to learn how to utilize DMSO for eye concerns, so the next dive is into A Midwestern Doctor's articles you have linked here. Blessings!
I've tried DMSO. It is very powerful so be careful when using any prescription meds. In my case it doubled the effect. I didn't need or want a doubling. Since it doubled my prescription med (necessary) I haven't yet tried it for my eyes, ears, nose or throat. But I'm going to now.
The FDA doesn't regulate approval or disapproval in the EU. Europe is the birthplace of homeopathy and many herbal/alternative practices. So why isn't it bigger in Europe? It can't simply be the pharma stranglehold. Or is it?
My dog got diagnosed last fall with a mast cell tumor the size of a 1/2 inch marble on her butt. I’ve been using DMSO gel topically once a day and a squirt of chlorine dioxide for good measure. It’s so close to being gone I have a hard time finding it now to apply the gel!
I have used it on myself for aches and pains with mixed results. Worked on my neck pain, but not on my golfers elbow. But that could be my fault for not applying it enough. Regardless, I will never be without this stuff.
The pain in my hips from age was simply overwhelming, but I rubbed a dab of DMSO gel on it and within 5 minutes I was completely pain free. I use gel or just the liquid, it lasts for 12 hours or so.
My boy friend didn't regrow hair though, he was only partly bald and recently balding.
I put the drops in my eye once a day, should I be doing more? It does leave the eye feeling better, clearer, but I have a cataract I'd like to get rid of.
Next time I need to see the dentist I intend to swish it around a bit!
I now have posted 3 "reply" comments here on DMSO and particularly re: eyes.
"Healing with DMSO" by Dr. Amandha Vollmer (Canadian) is the best resource on DMSO
(in my opinion). She has a link on her site on "how to heal cataracts with DMSO". I ordered her "20% DMSO eye drops". The book explains EVERYTHING you need to know about EVERYTHING (including eyes). Safety precaution book on its use.
It sounds great but I bought pharmaceutical grade 99% DMSO. one drop on my fingers and rubbed into temple and corraded arteries in neck as youtube doc instructed, and I stunk for 2 days as it seeped from my body. I was trying to increase my brain power by eliminating the fog i seem to have. He explained on the arteries into the blood, it travels through the body everywhere and he wasnt wrong Proof its potent. It was also explained that you dont need to use it every day and that when condition (whatever it is) improves, you stop. No smell of the product but when it enters the body within minutes you can smell it leaching from your pores. Its potent. Not sure if it did anything for me with one application but I hesitate to smell like that again. I flushed it from my system in two days by drinking continuous tea and water. After watching some youtube videos, I am assured the smell does happen to everyone. Use only a drop if you plan to try this and stay away from people during the stink which has been described as onions and garlic smell, but its that and more...Disgusting smell!
You get used to the smell and it also depends on how you metabolize it. Personally, if I use it very locally on a severe and fresh injury, I hardly taste it on my mouth and the smell is minimal. You can try diluting it further but there's often an adjustment period no matter what and everyone exudes different amounts/types of the sulfur compounds depending on how their body breaks it down. I've heard of deodorized versions but am unsure if it affects potency.
My wife and I discovered DMSO in the 1970's. We only used it for bruises, muscle and joint soreness and swelling. It has served us well for over 50 years. The results initially were miraculous, bruises disappeared in days, swelling often overnight, soreness from injury or overuse, disappeared with daily application. Eventually we became accustomed to its effectiveness and it remains our go to treatment for many things.
We have suggested and recommended DMSO to friends and relatives all along but nearly all were dissuaded by what they read and what they were told by doctors.
I read The Midwestern Doctor's treatise last year and I was amazed, but not surprised, at the versatility of DMSO and its application on so many problems.
My only problem is maintaining reliable sources of quality DMSO, and that has always been the case. I hope this rediscovery frees up more sources and more forms and concentrations of pharmacological purity DMSO.
Works for my left knee that injured long ago in college soccer. Just pulled calf muscle yesterday hiking 🐕 and dmso is accelerating repair. Can walk up/down steps today.
SOOOOO great you got onto to this DMSO reveal. A massive thank-you!!! Having been introduced to DMSO and used it for sooooo many issues, I highly recommend "Healing with DMSO" by Dr. Amandha Vollmer (published in 2020). (Canadian). The list is vast and covers chapters on eyes ~ ears (cataracts) ~ nose ~ throat ~ sinuses ~ skin care ~ cold sores ~ wounds ~ head trauma ~ osteoarthritis ~ headaches (migraines) ~ burns ~ bursitis ~ carpel tunnel syndrome ~ mental health ~ cavities ~ hemorrhoids ~ intravenous DMSO ~ STROKES (wouldja believe) ~ arthritis ~ tendinitis ~ aches and pains. Also dosages, how to use, precautions AND how to use with our animal friends.
A treasure of information. I purchased her "20% DMSO Eye Drops". A judging by the comments I would advise being extra careful IF using meds. She addresses this under "DMSO Precautions" (Pharmaceutical Prescriptions).

Where can you buy it?
https://a.co/d/aRWzz3T
Amazon link for the brand recommended by A Midwestern Doctor.
Can Amazon be trusted? I've heard rumblings about a few of the products not being what is presented. I`m sorry, I`m suspicious of so much anymore.

Thank you for taking the time on this, I appreciate the help~ Have a wonderful day~
Sadly they won't ship to the UK, so I'm still looking for very pure DMSO like this.
Try The DMSO Store on eBay.
Thanks, found it.
Ask someone in the US to ship it to you. It's not expensive.
Thanks, I'll try that if I can.
I bought mine 99.999% pharma strength undiluted DMSO from biogenic foods. 830 990-4422 in TX

What is AMWD?
"a Midwestern doctor" I believe, the cited Substack author in the article
Yes, what Matt said is right, A MidWestern Doctor. I definitely recommend following them here on Substack, they are amazing!

NO $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ in it for big pharma just like Ivermectin
which has been dismissed, denigrated etc. as an anti viral

I'd feel better about this article if the models weren't all children and beautiful young women. Will DMSO work for me, too?
There’s only one way to find out, Doris.

Keep us posted on the belly fat! I'm not proud!
It's kind of cryptic for a layperson, but here is the study I am using as a reference https://patents.google.com/patent/WO2012045136A1/en#
Thank you - I will slog through it. Already I'm a bit appalled - my fat is RANCID?? Yuck. :)
