Thanks to Midwesterrndoctor and the Vigilant Fox for providing excellent information on water. We have a whole house filtering system, so we can bathe without worrying about chemicals in the water; plus a RO unit under our kitchen sink to give us pure water to drink. My daughter went s step further and bought a Clearly Filter unit, which claims to remove over 99% of any toxins that are left. Many people fail to realize another source of pure water comes from the organic fruit and vegetables they consume. The percentage of water in both fruit and vegetables is approximately 75% - 94%. The water in fruit and vegetables can be calculated in the daily amount of water people require. Many who eat processed food are told to drink eight - 8 ounce glasses of water dally, because it does not contain any water. It is important not to drink an excess amount of water daily, as it will stress the kidneys and can break down the bladder.

what about distilled? I distill RO water becuase when I distill regular tap water it leaves scale inside the boiler of my distiller. I tested the ppm of tap, RO, and distilled. Our tap water is around 450 ppm, RO is around 20 ppm, and distilled is around 3 ppm.
