Blue light isn't bad and red light isn't good it is the time of day we get these colours and the intensity that matters.

On waking get plenty of high intensity blue light and high power 6000K LED lamps are great for this as are LED colour changing panels as is an early morning walk in sunlight. Set your laptops and tvs etc to very blue high brightness first thing in the morning and all day.

When the sun is low in the sky get rid of the blue emitting lights in the home by switching them off or covering them up and switch on low wattage halogens with a dimmer or similar and set your screens on laptops, tvs etc to be very red and dim.

I have an LED panel in the shower room set to blue in the morning and very low red at night and in the morning you can actually feel it switching you on the minute the light comes on. I also do yoga type excercises naked in front of a very bright 400Watt high intensity UV discharge lamp with filter to prevent burning rays to boost the blue and UV and I also have a 300Watt red light/heat lamp on at the same time as infrared is very good for the mitochondria. This really works to wake you up and get you going.

Blackout blinds are also important or wear blackout eyemasks as any light at night, especially even tiny amounts of blue light from LEDs on a hifi or tv or charger etc can really upset your clock.

Whoopi just woke up today and declared Trump’s MAHA war on obesity is “what we can do to make America Healthy again”, 😂😂😂

Like the View was sleep walking the past year until Fried Okra declared her biology victimhood today on her show. As though Dr. Atkins never existed. And Trump never lowered the costs of Oprah’s fat drug synthetic gila monster venom months ago. And the USDA food pyramid by DemoCrat lawyers and VP Mondale along with Big Food corn syrup and highly processed foods with seed oils and GMO soy designed to explode insects were not causing any of this. It’s all due to biology victimhood by golly. 🙃🙃🙃🌈

I do not believe the story about the increased heart attacks associated with losing a single hour of sleep. If that were so, people who work 3rd shift would have much lower life expectancy than they do.

I and every single one of my long term, 3rd shift colleagues would be dead by now if it were close to being true.

I suspect that medical fear porn is causing more deaths and impairment than sleeplessness.

It did seem a bit implausible to me too. I have had lifelong issues with insomnia, though it’s much better now. And I think that if you say things like that, that in itself might induce more worry and stress in some people- worsening their health and sleep problems! I’m definitely pro-truth telling, but are they sure it’s true? Also, a friend of mine just passed away last year at 100 years of age and he was one who parachuted at night into France during WW2. I’m sure he missed a lot of sleep and had a lot of trauma. He also out-lived 2 wonderful wives. He lived a good, productive and active life, though. He was bowling regularly until a couple years before his death.

Yaaaa, you can keep yourself awake all night worrying that you have enough sleep.

It’s cool to hear about your centenarian friend living the ups and downs of a full life so well.

Finally was able to subscribe to AMD's Substack today - yippee! Not a problem with the subscribing, had to get through some things and line up getting some big bills paid.
