A very moving service. I’ve been tempted to think that someone publicly proclaiming Christianity would never face a threat to their personal safety in America. Charlie Kirk’s death shows that is false. A Christian, especially one influencing others to become a Christian, could be in danger. And that there are those who would celebrate the violence.
I watched it today too from Canada and it was incredible to see such openness about Charlie’s Christian faith and the faith of the speakers. I can truly say it was easy to imagine Charlie being welcomed through the pearly gates with a ‘Well done, good and faithful servant’ greeting from our Saviour in a warm embrace. It was an inspiring afternoon that made the haters look horrible. They are indeed sad, miserable people that need our prayers. God bless Charlie’s memory! 🙏🏻
