I think this is badly worded, the vaccine can't offer any protection as it is injected in the muscle, so there's no mucosal antibodies anyway and, it's based on a modified s spike that is cytotoxic, so just causes harm. There's plenty to suggest Omicron isn't even a variant at all but another genetically modified virus released into the wild, and one that doesn't have that ace2 receptor binding of alpha - Delta, therefore, it doesn't replicate deep in the lungs, so it's mild.
