Somebody I know used to take Lunesta. They woke up too many times paralyzed only able to move their eyelids and eyes and breathe for about 30 minutes. They were never informed that paralyzation was observed during the Lunesta trials. When they finally informed their doctor, they were not told that this was a common adverse effect. They were not fully informed pertaining to be able to give medical consent under these conditions. When they went to the pharmacy, the pharmacy refused to provide them the insert. Instead, they printed out some generic information that said very little at all about adverse effects and instead instructed the patient to contact the doctor if they have any symptoms or adverse effects that might be associated with this drug. This person said they were unable to figure out that the paralyzation was coming from the sleeping pill because nobody had told them that it could be a symptom and it didn't happen every time, leaving the cause a mystery until this person was able to notice it only happened when they took Lunesta which was not every night.

I think MAHA should work with Congress to pass a law mandating that every prescribed prescription carry with it the actual published insert.

I use a cocktail nightly of

ALL Night Release Melatonin (5mg)

5HTP (50mg)

and

Magnesium Glycinate (180mg)

I tried all the rest, and nothing else works as well

NOTHING

Also, it is NOT habit forming, nor does it turn you into a candidate

for memory care
