Something is "off." I voted for transparency and honesty—not for cover-ups, and this is looking very much like a cover-up. The denials are too frantic. The explanations are mostly nonsensical or are intended to deflect the discussion.
This is not just about "Epstein." This is about whether we can trust government officials to give us accurate, honest, timely, and full explanations about corruption that affects our government and our society. I'm not talking about top-secret wartime military operations that temporarily need to be kept secret for national security; I'm talking about child trafficking, bribery, blackmail, black ops, graft, out-of-control intel agencies, corrupted government agencies, and any matters that negatively affect the fabric of our society.
If they're worried about "innocent people" getting hurt, they can (1) redact the names of those innocent people and (2) indicate which parts of the information is a hoax and which is true, and then release the files--along with some margin notes indicating how they know what is true and what is not true.
No matter how painful the truth may be, we need to know what the truth is—regarding criminal activities by our leaders, politicians, members of the judiciary, powerful private citizens, or public servants. It's obvious (to me) that the denial and Musk's showdown with Trump is an apparently believable charade to get the public to focus on Epstein and its implications of almost unfathomable corruption. It is working and will force people to wade through the files once they are made public. How many congressmen and senators are implicated? Likely a strong majority. This is the only way to get people to wake up.
