We can love and value our homeland without supporting or liking the government. Loving your country does not mean you don’t see the flaws. Those who have fought in wars and conflicts are not at fault for what evil men and women set into motion; blame them, not the ones who answered the call of duty. Instead of blaming the average American citizen for the current state of things, try asking why the system is in place at all and who benefits the most by forcibly keeping it intact. And I will never turn from Him, nor will I stop defending Him. The only Being I need answer to, is God. The only Being I need to be right with, is God. The only opinion that truly matters, is God’s. I don’t need to prove anything to anyone. I have all the hope that one day you’ll no longer have the need, or obsession, to lash out at every Christian you come across. Whatever resentments you’re contending with, don’t make them a part of the debate.
