What's on there matches what people have reported to me, but I've made a point to not promote specific brands to avoid any potential financial conflicts of interests.
I used to buy from JacobLab, which is a great company btw, until I found pharmaDMSO, excellent line of products, including of course pure DMSO. The 16 oz bottle costs half of "other" brands. I'm not affiliated so, no conflicts of interest here. I'm been using DMSO for over 30 years, can't live without it!
Well, this is amazing. I've heard of many good things DMSO can do, but restoring eyesight? Wow.
I'm almost his age, and in the last few years I've developed some bad floaters that cause blurry vision. And I recently ordered the MSM supplement that is a capsule form of DMSO. I can't wait to try it.
And Murray has a nice blue Under Armour shirt on. It's the same as some I have, the loose type t-shirt. I have the dark and light gray. Very comfortable. Someone on eBay named Geezermann has a few still available on sale, free shipping, lol.
Good morning. It is called MSM, for MethylSulfonylMethane. It is a powder form of DMSO, they say. Some have recommended it for people who do not like the odor sometimes associated with the liquid form after it is used. I bought a bottle on eBay, but there are several brands available there or Amazon. The liquid DMSO is also available.
The author of that blog attacks give or take every popular natural therapy with common pharmaceutical talking points (and sometimes odd things like claiming iodine doesn't exist). In the case of her DMSO article, it was full of gross factual errors, and she refused to correct any of them despite having hundreds of people communicate them to her. Most of the commenters could see through the major scholastic deficiencies on her part.
This was one comment I left to her. Like her other responses, she ignored any of its factual points.
"I made a decision to avoid promoting this article in anyway to avoid contaminating or biasing the sample with proDMSO voices because I felt it would be an excellent natural experiment (due to you casting a wide net to solicit adverse reactions to DMSO and simultaneously antagonizing a lot of people who had benefitted from DMSO with your inflammatory and dismissive language).
I gave this a month and then today went through and sorted every comment you received which pertained to direct experiences with DMSO. Of the 99 responses received which appeared to discuss direct experiences with DMSO:
•64 were positive reports, 81% of which an AI system characterized as “profound” improvements.
•17 suggested a positive direct experience, but did not explicitly state so in the comment.
•2 were impossible to determine if a benefit, harm or no effect occurred.
•6 stated no benefit occurred. However, most of these were for conditions where DMSO is known not to work (and hence not advised).
•2 implied no benefit occurred, but it was unclear.
•12 individuals reported tolerable and temporary reactions which are known side effects of DMSO, 7 of whom were also included in one of the previous tallies (e.g., someone who benefitted from it noticed there was a tolerable rash).
•3 individuals reported more severe reactions. Two of these were tolerable and temporary, while the third resulted from DMSO being combined with oregano oil.
For context, that equates to a 91% success rate (and much higher if you remove the instances where DMSO is not recommended for the specific ailment). Likewise, 14% reported adverse responses, most of which were minor and had no consequence besides the individual not wanting to continue the therapy.
Put differently from a sample of user experiences which was designed to be highly biased against DMSO, you demonstrated that it's safety and efficacy is much higher than any other therapy on the market. However, when individuals reported positive responses, your consistent choice was to gaslight them.
Finally, the worse reaction someone had was when it was combined with oregano oil. I personally use and prescribe oregano oil and think it's lovely when used appropriately, but also quite strong and irritating. I hence found it noteworthy that, to the best of my knowledge, the only therapy you have ever endorsed on here, which you described as a panacea and heavily downplayed any adverse reactions from (despite it being strong enough that it will cause issues if used incorrectly). For context, the LD50 for oral oregano oil is 748–1,556 mg/kg in rats, whereas DMSO's LD50 is 14,500. I have no issue with oregano oil, but it is much more toxic than many of the other therapies I've seen you attack (ie. it's 10-20 times more toxic than DMSO).
The second she mentioned FDA in a positive way i started doubting her credibility it sounds like a pay publicity by the left Obamas/Faucy. I bet she defends the covid vax with the millions that had killed and she even suggested and suggested a doubt about ivermectin and hidroxicloroquine the real cure for Malaria believe me I am from a Malaria's country. This is the kind of opposers that DMSO may always have had bc is very cheap. She speaks about certain Amandas making billions out of it. That's certainly has nothing to do with MWD. I tried DMSO and has been very good in everything I have tried so far.
So having read through most of this information I'm dissapointed with the almost total lack of useage instruction. It can be "applied" or "taken" but really no dosage for either. I am suffering from severe lower back and muscle pain, also arthritis in my neck, have been rubbing DMSO liquid into the muscles for a couple of weeks and although I immediately taste the DMSO when I apply it, it has done nothing for the pain.
Should I be taking it orally, if so how much and should it be mixed with water?
Try MSM in aloe Vera gel. Rub on painful area. Available on Amazon. You can also buy MSM in powder form. One teaspoon in shot glass of warm water, stir and drink. Tastes is sort of nasty. Drink something afterwards. Pain relief equivalent to Tramadol. Can ingest 2-3 x a daily. Regular use will grow beautiful long nails!
I would like to know where to buy DMSO, what concentration, in what forms can it be used, and how to use it. For instance, I have asthma, so how would I use DMSO? These articles are terrific, but they never tell how to use the DMSO.
I read a Substack from Dr. Yoho also, and he has written recently about DMSO and the ways to use it and what concentrations. That's how I heard about the powder form I can get in a capsule. Some people do not like the odor it can bring on with its topical use, or ingestion of the liquid form.
I want to know what DMSO will do if you’ve already made the irreversible mistake to have cataract surgery. If I use this - not in my eyes- but for other things ( my awful asthma), will it harm my eyes by effecting my fake lenses? I’m afraid to try DMSO for this reason. Any advice out there?
I’ve been using it for 30 years. It has no contraindications in the PDR. I’m not a doctor. If I were, I probably wouldn’t know bout it! Most doctors don’t.
Are you saying you’ve been using it after cataract surgery and you’ve had no ill effects? Sorry, I just need to hear you clearly. If it wacked out my fake lenses, that would be another no return situation
Are the lenses plastic? Find out exactly what plastic they are made of by saying you are allergic to "certain types" Then when you find out what kind of plastic your lenses are made of...get a similar or EXACT same type of plastic...but NOT your contact lenses YET and submerge it in some DMSO.
My bet is the plastic will not be damaged. I wouldn't advise taking any chances with such an expensive item.
This is quite an article-kinda makes me want to cry. I’m so sick of the lying Big Pharma & “Health industry.” It’s disappointing to think that the alternative medicine road may not be so straight either. I’m praying to find an answer for relieving my asthma & searching for a way to get off 12 years of Symbicort. My pulmonary doc has nothing to help beyond inhalers.
Thank you for posting this article. Think I’ll pass on DMSO.

Does anyone know a doctor who can guide patients in DMSO treatment? What is the strength of DMSO used in dropper form? I went through all of Midwestern Doctor but didn't see a definitive percentage strength, and I would also like to do it under a physician's guidance. Thank you
Dr James Miller in Florida Lighthouse Point and Fort Lauderdale. The office's name is Dr. Hometown and am not sure but i think he gives also Televisits for people out of Florida.
Thank you very much for taking the time to respond! I will seek him out. I have been reading for years about DMSO, and I have really wanted to begin taking it, but I also don't want to do something stupid with my eyes. Best wishes!
My pleasure! I discovered this site about 2 years ago. Excellent line of products, top notch purity, it comes in cobalt blue glass. I buy the 16oz liquid for half the price of most in the market these days. I'm not a doctor but have been using DMSO for the past 30 years, mainly topically but now, am ingesting 6 drops in a small glass of water everyday. Can't remember the source but I read Dr. Stanley Jacobs, "the father of DMSO" used to ingest either a tsp or a tbs as part of his daily routine. You can also find good books. I bought years ago DMSO Nature's Healer, from DR. Morton Walker. I'm red faced to say I have read very little but it is packed with information. Now that I'm 70 I think I'll start paying more attention and research the many more ways I can benefit from it. Good luck with your research as well!
Yes! The maddening thing is that I have known about DMSO for years, but I've never risked using it. I am glad to hear you're brave :) I even have a book by Dr. Jacobs on DMSO! Have you had a lot of success with it?
Yes, yes and yes! I used to be a Shiatsu Massage Therapist back in the 90's. I have helped many people with their aches and pains. You burn yourself on the stove/oven? No problem! Spray some and the pain is gone within 15 secs. Maybe you have to continue applying a few more times, depending on the severity of the burn. Sunburn? I mix it with aloe vera and apply liberally in the affected areas and voila'! Redness gone, no pain, no discomfort! Joint/muscle pains? Rub it on the affected areas and give it a few minutes and magic happens.
Some 6 months ago the resident manager in my building strained his lower back. The poor guy was in so much pain, barely could walk, had made appt to see a PT. I applied DMSO to his back and gave him one hour Shiatsu. He got up the floor and was ecstatic! Homos Erectus again! :o) Told me normally when that happens (he has a bad back) it takes him several visits to a PT to get back in shape! Have you watched an old Dr. Stanley Jacob interview on 60 Minutes? I love that interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4XEt0n6LPrk&t=9s
Agree, the dosage/application info is scant. I've used it topically on muscle spasms, gut, bursitis with apparent good results. But for cataracts, mac degen I'm very reluctant to take a chance with DMSO drops, diluted or not.
Thank you for this. But unless I've missed it, I don't see one of the most important things, which is how to apply it? The man in the video "smears it onto his eyelid"? Can we put it in an eye dropper? What concentration?
Yes, you can put it in glass with a glass dropper and put it in your eyes. Someone here...I am sorry I don't remember who or where...maybe it's here 😀...gave a link. They have a glutathione eye drop solution with a small percentage of dmso. I have been using it for about 1 week, so too soon to tell if it will improve my sight, but it is very soothing. wew.pharmadmso.com
My mother used DMSO on a serious skin condition that the medical profession failed to cure. She cured it with DMSO. I am going to try this on my eyes. I have regular eye appointments at the hospital. I have my next appointment in December. They have never really explained to me what’s wrong with the back of my eyes, but it will be interesting to see if they can see an improvement…… and I will report back.
I can't be certain that this was down to DMSO but it's quite a coincidence if not: I have been near sighted since I was early teens (L eye -2.25, R eye -1.5). Eyes have been stable since I was early 20s (I'm 36 now). I haven't had my eyes checked for 10 years, no issues with my contacts or glasses. Have been using DMSO on and off for the last 6-8 months on my face combine with vitamin C, B and Zinc, hyaluronic acid. Found it useful for healing acne and didn't think much more of it. A few weeks ago I noticed increasing irritation from my contacts and it felt like my contacts were constantly cloudy. I went to the optometrist expecting to need a stronger prescription
To my surprise my prescription has significantly improved mostly in my L eye! (L eye -1.5, R eye -1.25). Optometrist was surprised! No idea if this is the DMSO but I will continue using it and see what happens.
I've known of Dr. Stanley Jacobs and his work for many years since I was first introduced to MSM which is, I believe, a derivative of DMSO. When it was first available it was being sold through multi-level marketing with ridiculous mark-ups, but my friend suggested buying the equine variety (same thing, different packaging) at a much cheaper price - I buy it in a 4lb bucket. I've been taking it daily for over 30 years now and unlike many of my peers (I'm 73) I have no arthritis issues or any other major health issues, so I'm a believer in the healing power of DMSO. I'm interested in learning more about protecting eye health and also about treating tinnitus with DMSO. The articles are interesting but there doesn't seem to be specific guidelines or protocols for use and treatment. How can I find out more specifics and recommendations for product purchases?
I've been using DSMO since June 2025. I rub a drop or two on my nose and a few other places. But First I'm always careful to clean the area with an alcohol wipe. I'm very afraid to get it close to my eyes. But my eye sight hasn't magically gotten better. And there's so many confounding's that I couldn't say it was just this or that. I'm very conscientious so my improved autoimmune issue could be one or many factors. Hopefully one day I can say for certain that DSMO is a miracle.
It worked wonders for me when I was diagnosed with cervical spondylitis and told by the doctor the only thing that would help is a heating pad. The heat helped but pain and tingling came back quickly. I did my own research and applied the DMSO twice daily. In 3 days, the tingling ended and in 5 days, the pain was gone. Mild pain has returned on occasion but 2 days of DMSO eliminates it.
I mix it with castor oil and put it on the root of eyelashes with a q tip. My sister did it too and after telling her that she had cataracts from 1 to 10 she was 7. Next time she went to the doctor she asked and he said may be in 20 year she would need surgery bc it's so minimal. For every 8 drops of DMSO 18 of castor oil.
I have cervical stenosis that was debilitating. I could not look up and had very limited range of motion to the right and left and was in constant discomfort or pain, 24x7.
I started using 70% DMSO on my neck around 6-7 months ago, I just rubbed a bit on my neck each morning.
I now have full range of motion and zero pain. I sometimes have a little discomfort if I push too hard lifting weights, particularly heavy bench press but other than that I’m back to a normal lifestyle. A few months ago I cleaned and painted a bathroom ceiling in my house. That doesn’t sound like a big deal but there is no way I could have done this before using DMSO.
I have some 30/70 DMSO/Castor oil that I use for drops in my eyes. I haven't used it regularly, but I think I will for a while. If you are on X-https://x.com/JohnDParody.. does have links to some sellers...
Not sure bc the color is naturally fading bc the weather is getting cooler where I live. My primary result was smoothed out texture, which was my biggest complaint, too. I have a lot of sun exposure concentrated in one area from wearing v-neck shirts/dresses for golf.
It’s been about a month or so that I’ve been raw-dogging the 99.9% pharma-grade spray in that area, but I’ve used DMSO on aches/pains for several years. Just thought I’d try the décolleté bc I received the spray nozzle attachment and it was easier to apply and DMSO seems to work on everything! Lol
And just to be clear, the texture isn’t 100% repaired, but it’s definitely much better than it was. But I assume that the progress will continue with DMSO use. I’m pleased with what’s happening, but I also assume that sun damage could recur with future sun exposure - as in, DMSO is fixing the damage I had, but will not necessarily be protective of future exposure.
Thanks for the details. Just one more question, does your décolletage become irritated from the DMSO? I apply it to my neck & shoulder each day & it becomes red & dry.
I occasionally apply cortisone & always use a thicker moisturizer after application.
It’s encouraging that so many of us are sharing our experience with DMSO.
Moving away from Western medicine is finally happening ☺️
Are the testimonies of healing from DMSO conclusive? https://barecatbody.com/blogs/news/dmso-healing-recovery-stories

Dave, what was the supplement you ordered?
Good morning. It is called MSM, for MethylSulfonylMethane. It is a powder form of DMSO, they say. Some have recommended it for people who do not like the odor sometimes associated with the liquid form after it is used. I bought a bottle on eBay, but there are several brands available there or Amazon. The liquid DMSO is also available.
Do you have a link to it that you can post or a brand name? I am not finding MSM eye drops.
It is a capsule form of the powder, not a liquid drop, that I referred to. The liquid is the original DMSO available in bottles.
AKA DMSO2.

pharmaDMSO, the site where I get my 16oz bottles *best price that I know of) has this list of IV DMSO clinics, maybe it can help you: https://www.pharmadmso.com/dmso-therapy-clinics
Thank you so much for taking the time to respond!
Good luck in your explorations Sun!
Thank you so much!
They have never really explained to me what’s wrong with the back of my eyes, but it will be interesting to see if they can see an improvement…… and I will report back.
do NOT use at full strength on your eyes. Dilute it quite a bit AT LEAST 5O% distilled water
Thanks Kathleen 👍
Did you combine all those ingredients in the bottle with dmso? Did you do it yourself or purchase? TY!
I tried using 50% DMSO gel on my eyelids, but it stung intensely, so I discontinued using it.
Do the eye drops give the same painful effect, or is the eye not subject to that property?
I mix it with castor oil and put it on the root of eyelashes with a q tip. My sister did it too and after telling her that she had cataracts from 1 to 10 she was 7. Next time she went to the doctor she asked and he said may be in 20 year she would need surgery bc it's so minimal. For every 8 drops of DMSO 18 of castor oil.
Thank you very much.
I'll get some pure DMSO to mix with the castor oil, as I don't know if the gel will mix properly.
I looked but I do not have an x account. if it is easy for you, would you mind posting the links? 😊

I got mine from barecatbody.com
Thank you!
I’ve been spraying it on my décolleté morning and night, and my sun damage has significantly reversed.
That’s amazing. Can I ask if it has decreased any brown pigment, if you have any from the sun? I’m curious since I am a skin care nurse. Thanks
