Vice President JD Vance joined ABC News’ “The View” on Tuesday for a tense interview on the Trump administration and his new book, “Communion.”

The Vice President’s book, “Communion,” on his journey from protestant to atheist to Catholic, was released on Tuesday. Vance joined the left-leaning show “The View” to discuss his book, though the hosts used the opportunity to press the vice president on other political topics like the economy, the Epstein Files, and immigration.

The vice president remained calm, refuting their points while the hosts interjected, interrupted, and got increasingly hostile with him for nearly an hour.

“When I talk to my friends and family who supported you and still support you, one issue comes up: the economy. Wages are down, gas prices are starting to drop at news of the Iran deal. What can you say to voters who trusted you to lower costs? Will they be satisfied by November?” one host asked.

“That’s ultimately up to the voters. Voters have every right to expect as much as possible out of their representatives. We were elected on a number of mandates: One, to close the border, which we have done successfully. Exceeded expectations. Lower prices; there’s work to do because of what’s happened over the last few months in the Middle East. As you said, oil, which got up to $120 a barrel, now is at $80 a barrel. That will be reflected in lower fuel, food, energy prices. There’s a lot more work to do,” the vice president said.

“The thing I’m proudest – I grew up in a town that was forgotten about by the leaders in Washington of both parties. That’s Middletown, Ohio. That’s in southwestern Ohio. It was a steel town. I was raised by a grandfather who was a union steel worker. Those factories closed down. The thing that I’m most excited about is you do see a large amount of capital investment coming into our country. Factories being built. Construction jobs are up. Manufacturing jobs are starting to catch up. There’s more work. I think we’re making progress,” he said, concluding again that it will be up to the voters in November.

The hosts proceeded to ask Vance about comments made by President Donald Trump calling Democrats’ affordability discussion a hoax. The vice president explained that the president wasn’t calling affordability a hoax, but that he was calling Democrats’ argument that Republicans are to blame for high prices, rather than the previous administration, a “hoax.”

“He said he loved inflation,” Ana Navarro pressed.

“What he said is he loves inflation is going to come down when this war is over. That’s what he said,” the VP said.

“That’s not what he said. Are you his interpreter or his vice president? Come on,” Joy Behar interjected.

“Look, what the president said – people were asking about inflation. They were asking about the affordability problem, which is very real. He said I love the inflation because it’s going to come down when the war is over. Now again we see gas prices today, $4.06 a gallon. Too high. Way down from where they were a couple weeks ago,” Vance calmly explained. He added that the administration is continuing to work on the issue and knows there is more to be done.

“The View” hosts also used the interview, meant to be about Vance’s book, to press him on recent reporting from two New York Times journalists on how the administration handled the Epstein Files. The report states that Vance convened members of the president’s cabinet into the Situation Room to discuss how to handle the PR disaster around the rollout of the files.

“According to a new report from the New York Times, you were a leading voice to release the Epstein Files. We applaud you for that. You warned top officials, including top [Department of Justice] officials at strategy meetings taking place inside the Situation Room. We understand there are tapes of the meetings. This was a huge problem for the base. The report says you floated having Tucker Carlson interview Ghislaine Maxwell to clear the president’s name. You were rebuffed by your people. Why?” Sunny Hostin asked.

“I would say first of all, don’t believe everything that you read in any newspaper, whether it’s a right leaning people or paper or left-leaning. There are things true, false, and missing context. Number one, I am frankly a conspiracy theorist on the Epstein stuff. That’s one thing that’s true,” Vance started.

“I wanted to have full transparency. What I disagree with is the idea the White House wasn’t committed to full transparency. You have to remember, I was in the room when these decisions were made. The Epstein Files Transparency Act, the one the president signed, all these files that we are seeing… I have to defend my boss. Sorry Joy, I know you don’t appreciate this. One of the things you see in the Epstein emails is that Epstein hated Donald Trump. Donald Trump literally reported Jeffrey Epstein to the police. That’s one of the things that came out of the files,” Vance continued.

The hosts continued to grill Vance on Trump’s relationship with Epstein as they each interjected as he began to respond.

“It was allegedly over a real estate deal they got into a fight over,” Navarro refuted. “Let’s be truthful and transparent. They didn’t just know each other. They were close friends.”

“He reported him to the police. That’s true,” Vance said before asking for more time to respond to their questions on the Epstein Files.

“This question about did Donald Trump release these files only under duress from Republicans… the idea that Donald Trump runs around afraid of Republican congressmen as opposed to the other way around is kind of crazy,” Vance said, explaining that the president was upset that Democrats were making the Epstein Files about the president.

The hosts also asked Vance to square the administration’s immigration policy with his Catholic faith and explain how the White House is still putting an emphasis on diversity. In the middle of the interview, Vance interjected to push the conversation to his book and note that a majority of his book isn’t about politics at all.

Hostin used her time to ask about why “black history” is being “erased” after Whoopi Goldberg asked Vance how black Americans offended the administration.

“What did black people do to this administration that has allowed it to really stigmatize folks of color? You know how hard it is. You have folks of color in your family,” Goldberg said, going on to speak about the murder of Emmett Till in 1955 and other “removal of information” without citing more specifics.

“You asked the question, and maybe you don’t believe this coming from me,” the VP began to answer after being interrupted previously. “I think everybody is welcome in our political coalition. Frankly, even if you didn’t vote for us, everybody is welcome in our country so long as you are an American citizen with the duties and obligations and rights to be here.”

The Denver Public Schools Board of Education voted UNANIMOUSLY to dismiss French teacher Jennifer Honka.

Honka, who taught at Northeast Early College high school, reportedly made female students kiss each other during classroom skits and graded them on their performance.

The board’s 7-0 decision came after an administrative law judge ruled that Honka’s “choice of script forced [students] to express their preferences and consent about a very personal and sexualized activity on the spot in front of their peers.” The judge found this amounted to “incompetence and neglect of duty.”

Honka ran bi-weekly skits as graded assignments in her French Language and Culture class. Part of students’ grades depended on how they performed these skits, which included same-gender kissing scenarios.

One student who refused to participate testified she received a zero on the assignment. Students told other teachers they felt pressured and uncomfortable being forced to engage in these highly personal and sexualized role-plays in front of classmates.

Honka reportedly enforced a classroom policy that “the answer is always ‘yes’ in this class.” The judge rejected her claim that students could simply opt out without consequence, noting the inherent power imbalance: a teacher directing minors to perform intimate acts while controlling their grades.

The misconduct didn’t stop at the skits. Honka also shared deeply inappropriate personal details with students, including:

• Her own suicidal ideation (telling students about an impulse to “drive in front of a semi-truck”)

• Her history of childhood abuse

• How she conceived her son through IVF using a sperm donor

• Her sexual orientation

These disclosures, combined with the pressured kissing skits, crossed every professional line.

Honka claimed she was being targeted because of her union activity and homosexuality. The judge rejected those claims, noting that while some students referenced her LGBTQ status, there was no evidence of overt bias driving the complaints.

According to the independent review, issued on April 30th, a copy of which was obtained by CBS Colorado, those students were always the same sex.

One student told an NEC chemistry teacher about the skits in April 2024.

“The student was very uncomfortable and did not know what to do,” the report stated. “She went ahead and kissed another student at (Honka)’s direction. The student then shared a digital meme with (the chemistry teacher) that included a picture of (Honka) and the caption ‘she makes girls kiss.’ The meme had circulated among the students.

“After this incident, the student’s attendance decreased dramatically.”

One student interviewed directly in the independent review also testified that Honka always selected girls to act in the skits. Despite a nearly 50/50 split among boys and girls in the class, the student “could not recall Honka choosing a boy actor.”

Another student said she walked out of the class.

A couple says their five-month-old infant was delivered alive at an abortion clinic in New Jersey — then trafficked for fetal organ harvesting. They named the little girl Clementine.

Their allegations are detailed in the Center for Medical Progress’ new documentary, “What Happened to Clementine?” Filmmakers interviewed Tommy Kearns, Clementine’s father, and Clementine’s mother, who has chosen to remain anonymous.

Clementine’s parents are wondering: Where is their child?

Kearns told the Daily Caller: “If Clementine’s scalp is growing on the back of a lab rat, then the question is not scientific. It is about our child. How long is her hair? What color is her hair? She is not a tissue sample, she is a person.”

Kearns added that he’s “looking at this as a kidnapping.”

“I want to know where her body is. Any experiments that they are doing to her are illegal and need to be stopped.”

In the documentary, Clementine’s mother explains some of the stressors that eventually led her to the Cherry Hill Women’s Center: “Not having a career, not having money, living at my mom’s house, doing long distance, having a crappy car that doesn’t even have brakes … I just really wanted to make sure everything would have been perfect.”

Clementine’s mother called the Cherry Hill Women’s Center in March 2024, seeking guidance: “I don’t know what I was looking for. Not that. Literally had no idea what abortion was. Nobody ever explained anything to me either. I didn’t know what procedures entailed. I didn’t even know if it was legal. Like, I was literally just calling to ask questions.”

The Cherry Hill clinic is located in New Jersey, where a woman or girl has the legal right to seek an abortion regardless of whether they are in the first, second, or third trimester. The Cherry Hill clinic provides abortions up to 28 weeks, right at the seven-month mark, according to pro-abortion website AbortionFinder. The survival rate for premature infants born at 28 weeks is about 80%.

Cherry Hill Women’s Center has long acted as a fetal organ harvesting site, David Daleiden alleged to the Daily Caller.

“This is not an isolated incident, this is not just some fluke or highly unusual case,” Daleiden said.

Daleiden is a pro-life journalist and founder of the Center for Medical Progress.

“This is the first case that I’m aware of in over 10 years of looking at this where the actual parents of a child who was killed for fetal organ harvesting have come forward relatively quickly after this all happened and said, ‘We feel we were lied to,’” Daleiden told the Daily Caller. “This is a suspected true crime murder case about a baby that was born alive, who would have protectable civil rights, and was killed by organ harvesting in a taxpayer funded abortion clinic.”

Daleiden called the case a “horrific violation of the civil rights of a tiny new American citizen and her parents.”

Cherry Hill Women’s Center began preparing Clementine’s mother for a two-day abortion, even after Clementine’s mother says she told nurses she was under the influence of marijuana, a mind-altering substance.

Clementine was approximately 20 weeks old and had a heartbeat, according to filmmakers. Clementine’s mother was allegedly subjected to intense cervical dilation, without the typical numbing procedures in place for abortions of this kind.

Medical records obtained by filmmakers indicate Cherry Hill Women’s Center asked for consent to inject Clementine’s mother with a substance to “stop pregnancy growth.” This consent form was never signed, according to Clementine’s parents. Filmmakers speculate that Cherry Hill hoped to keep the infant intact in order to avoid tissue degradation caused by lack of blood flow.

Medical records allegedly show that physicians recorded “fetal demise” was “not administered.”

Clementine’s mother was then given a large dose of misoprostol, which can cause very strong and long contractions.

“The protocol, the labor-inducing drugs and everything else involved in this case, this is standard operating procedure for the abortion clinic, Cherry Hill, that has been an organ harvesting facility for a long time,” Daleiden told the Daily Caller.

Clementine’s mother and father say Cherry Hill never told them their infant might be harvested for her tissue prior to the abortion.

Clementine’s mother says while she was in labor, she was presented with a consent form from Cercle Allocation Services for fetal organ harvesting, according to documentary filmmakers.

“I was afraid I was going to die. I didn’t know what was going to happen if I didn’t sign it for the surgery. I felt like I had no choice. I was trusting them, so I signed it … I did not read that. I just signed it, because what else was I supposed to do?” Clementine’s mother asks in the documentary.

Daleiden told the Daily Caller, “Even if it’s only 50 clinics across the country that are doing this, it’s a huge number of people, it’s a huge number of victims, and it’s disgusting and wrong that American citizens could be subjected to something like this in a taxpayer-funded clinic.”

Daleiden added that the Center for Medical Progress has reviewed Institutional Review Board files from a fetal organ harvesting study at one Planned Parenthood clinic in southern California. In a four-year period, that single clinic recorded nearly 3,000 patients whose aborted babies were harvested.

The New Jersey Department of Health censured Cherry Hill Women’s Center in April, saying state surveyors observed “significant deficiencies in nursing services and infection control practices” at the clinic. New Jersey directed the clinic to follow a “directed plan of correction,” lifting the order in May.

“You’re either a severe spinal cord injury with no sensation, nothing, like an Asia A. You don’t go from an A to a C. From there, he was Asia C. And I’m still rubbing this stuff on him every chance I get.”

“I mean, I would rub that thing on him probably ten times a day. What’s interesting is I was able to rub it on the left side of his body more than his right side. His left side is definitely stronger.”

“The right side is slowly coming back. His hand grip on this side was like 1 pound probably four months ago. And now it’s up to 20 pounds. He literally has every single fine motor skill. It’s a matter of us now strengthening them.”

“He hasn’t used his wheelchair in three weeks… We moved to the arm crutches. And now in therapy, he’s working on walking without the arm crutches.”

“We were like ventilator-dependent, medication-dependent… And now we’re down to just the baclofen.”

As security researcher Benn Jordan noted, plotting that data on a map effectively places a month-long GPS tracker on your car. Jordan, who previously discovered dozens of Flock cameras streaming publicly, described AI-driven features that zoom in and follow individuals - whether persons of interest or random passersby, Atlanta News First reports.

As we’ve previously reported on the battle brewing between mass surveillance tech and individual liberty, tools sold for “public safety” quietly erode Fourth Amendment protections against unreasonable searches.

Company Denials vs. Training Videos and Hardware Reality

Flock’s Chief Communications Officer Josh Thomas claims the company aids in solving around 700,000 crimes annually. He disputes “tracking” characterizations, arguing the system captures discrete points in time rather than continuous monitoring.

However, Flock’s own webinars contradict this:

“The example of tracking that vehicle from location to location to location,” a Flock webinar instructor said.

“And you’re able to track your suspect’s movements,” another webinar showed.

In one training video, a police officer described using Flock cameras to follow a suspect across state lines: “And we were able to track him all the way over to another state, in Kentucky.”

Flock’s Condor cameras go further: These pan-tilt-zoom units use AI to detect and automatically follow human movement. When confronted, Thomas maintained the company does not track people, attributing features like “Guardian Mode” to mere object detection rather than persistent tracking. Yet demonstrations show the cameras panning and tilting in real-time to keep subjects in frame.

Critics like Jordan suggest the pedestrian-tracking hardware emerged conveniently after earlier denials that Flock only captured license plates.

Security Nightmares and Misuse

Jordan and collaborators found over 70 Condor cameras streaming openly online without passwords. He published the video on YouTube along with 404 Media.

“I watched a man leave his house in the morning. I watched a woman jogging alone on a forest trail in Georgia,” Jordan said.

Thomas said the exposure was an accident caused by Verizon sending the wrong SIM cards with public IP addresses on roughly 60-70 devices, which were fixed once discovered. Verizon did not respond to requests for comment.

Police officers nationwide have been arrested for using Flock cameras to stalk former partners and love interests. Freeman and Jordan warn that human nature makes such misuse inevitable in a system logging everyone’s movements by default. Thomas pointed to audit logs and accountability measures, but activists argue the architecture itself invites overreach.

The “Safety” Trade-Off and Pushback

Flock touts its role in preventing mass violence and solving crimes, with Thomas positioning the company on the side of those “fighting to stop” such threats. Yet more than two dozen cities, including Denver, have canceled contracts amid privacy concerns and questions over data access.

Freeman, demonstrating DeFlock’s route-planning feature that avoids camera-dense paths (turning a quick 1.7-mile trip into a 14-minute detour), argues the default of logging all citizens - not just suspects - is the core problem. He plans to keep “tracking the trackers” in the absence of oversight.

This saga fits a familiar pattern of privatized surveillance creep: Companies like Flock build the infrastructure, police query it with minimal friction, and civil liberties erode under the banner of security. As similar systems proliferate, the question remains whether Americans are willing to accept a perpetual digital dragnet in exchange for promised safety.

AI-Designed DNA Vaccine: Dr. McCullough on the Munro et al. pEVAC-PS Trial

Dr. Peter McCullough sat down with Natalie and Clayton Morris to dissect the Munro et al. phase I trial of pEVAC-PS — a computationally designed, needle-free DNA plasmid vaccine targeting pan-sarbecoviruses. The conversation zeroed in on what the paper doesn’t say.

The Technology

The vaccine uses circular DNA plasmids encoding a 200-amino-acid conserved region of the spike protein’s receptor-binding domain, selected by AI (DIOSynVax platform) for cross-sarbecovirus reactivity. Delivery bypasses needles entirely — the PharmaJet Tropis device shoots liquid intradermally at high pressure. McCullough noted this is not a needle but a gun, raising the spectre of surreptitious vaccination: “If I snuck up behind you and just brushed by you, I could pop that, and then you’re vaccinated with DNA plasmids.”

The Missing Preclinical Data

McCullough’s central critique: no genotoxicity, teratogenicity, or oncogenicity studies were performed before injecting humans. The paper states integration risk is “extremely low” because plasmids lack integrase enzymes, then concedes in the same breath that human cells possess endogenous mechanisms for incorporating foreign DNA into the genome. McCullough: “They state that there’s no integrase enzyme with it. So you don’t have to provide an integrase. Human cells have ways of taking DNA and putting it into the genome.”

The authors claim the risk is negligible. McCullough’s response: “But they did not test that. That’s not listed. So we’re just supposed to take their word for it?”

The Adverse Events Shell Game

The paper reports no serious adverse events, but as the Morrises highlighted, there is no tabulated list of adverse events — just a summary statement. McCullough called this unacceptable for a phase I trial whose entire purpose is safety assessment. The paper reports 121 unsolicited AEs, 23 deemed vaccine-related, and 12 clinically significant laboratory abnormalities — all dismissed as grade 1–2 and “self-resolved.”

The Efficacy Smoke Screen

Despite being a safety trial, the paper leans heavily on antibody data. McCullough noted that one participant contracted COVID during the trial and was pulled from analysis. The modest binding antibody responses — statistically significant only in the highest dose group and only against the vaccine construct itself — don’t support meaningful protection. The paper admits immunogenicity was “modest” and “did not increase predictably with higher doses.”

The Lab-Leak Vaccine Hypothesis

McCullough drew a direct line to Peter Daszak and the Wuhan Institute of Virology: “This seems like a vaccine to cover more lab accidents and lab leaks.” The broad-spectrum design targeting “potential zoonotic spillovers” reads, in his view, as preparation for whatever escapes the lab next — not natural emergence.

What Could Go Wrong: A Development Checklist

1. Systemic distribution — The PharmaJet device targets the dermis, but nothing guarantees plasmid DNA stays local. McCullough warned it could enter circulation, distributing genetic code to vital organs.

2. Incomplete enzymatic degradation — Human DNAses may fragment plasmids rather than fully destroy them. Partial sequences could remain functional.

3. Cellular spike protein loading — Transfected cells become spike protein factories. The paper’s own peptide microarray data show antibodies targeting the S309 epitope — a conserved region with homology concerns (McCullough referenced the 2021 Australian vaccine where subjects turned HIV-positive due to spike-HIV homology).

4. Genomic integration — Human cells possess LINE-1 retrotransposon machinery and non-homologous end-joining pathways capable of inserting foreign DNA into chromosomes. Without integration studies, this risk is unknown, not low.

5. Transgenerational transfer — If germline cells take up plasmids, integrated sequences could pass to offspring. No reproductive toxicology was performed.

6. Oncogenic transformation — Random genomic integration can disrupt tumor suppressor genes or activate oncogenes. Zero carcinogenicity data exist.

7. Immune dysregulation — Chronic spike protein expression from integrated DNA could drive autoimmunity or antibody-dependent enhancement upon wild-type virus exposure.

8. Needle-free delivery risks — High-pressure injection may aerosolize vaccine, create unpredictable tissue distribution, and enable non-consensual administration.

For many of you the genetic plasmid DNA shot is a “hard-pass.” Sadly, the vaccine development world has apparently lost its moorings and is bounding ahead with no concerns for safety whatsoever.

Now the student is sitting on top of gigantic pile of money, having won a legal settlement over the way she was targeted for this.

There was absolutely nothing offensive in the messages she painted on the rock. The school only acted because the message was about Charlie Kirk. The student’s First Amendment rights were violated.

A North Carolina high school student has reached a $95,000 settlement with her school district after she was publicly accused of vandalism and told she was under police investigation. The controversy revolved around painting a campus “spirit rock” with a Bible verse and patriotic message in tribute to the late Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.

Fox News Digital has learned that a settlement was reached this week between the family of Ardrey Kell High School student Gabby Stout and the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education. Under the terms of the agreement, the school board will adopt a new free speech policy, issue a public statement expressing regret, and pay $95,000 to Stout’s legal team at Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF).

The settlement comes six months after the Stouts filed a federal lawsuit alleging rampant violations of the student’s First Amendment rights.

Stout told Fox News Digital the settlement ultimately clears her name.

“This settlement finally reinforces that I did nothing wrong, and the school system has to admit that publicly,” she said. “After I got permission to paint a message sharing my faith in God, school officials accused me of vandalism in front of my whole school and my entire community. Then they put me through an unfair investigation. They never should have treated me this way, and by saying they regret that I had this experience, they are finally acknowledging that publicly.”

This was an expensive lesson for the school.

The left’s hysteria over conservatives sometimes makes them behave quite stupidly.

Something researchers have observed for decades is finally crystallizing into a measurable cultural phenomenon. Political conservatives consistently report higher levels of happiness, better mental health, and stronger psychological well-being than their liberal counterparts. A new study pui likblished in Political Behavior takes that finding several steps further, arguing that mental illness has begun functioning as its own political identity, and that identity clusters most tightly on the left.

Columbia University’s magazine originally flagged the underlying trend back in 2023, reporting that “American adults who identify as politically liberal have long reported lower levels of happiness and psychological well-being than conservatives,” Based on the data of four different studies, researchers from the Universities of Florida and Toronto, found an explanation: conservatives tend to exhibit greater personal agency, religiosity, moral clarity, self-worth, and a more optimistic general disposition.

The Political Behavior study was conducted by Prof. Lauren Van De Hey of Utah State University, and the implications of her findings were significant. “I further find that there is an emerging mental health political identity that is most pronounced among younger (Gen Z) and more liberal Americans,” she said.

She also noted that “the political predictors and political consequences for the emerging mental health identity differ from those for physical disability and serious physical illness categorization and identification,” suggesting that mental health, unlike physical illness, has acquired a distinctly ideological character in American life.

Approximately half of the study participants with mental illness reported that their identity as a person with a mental health condition is “very important or somewhat important” to them. Meanwhile, conservatives are less likely than liberals to categorize anxiety and depression as mental health conditions and seek clinical treatment at lower rates. Van De Hey speculates this may reflect a “personal responsibility ethos: they do not seek help when they think they can resolve the issues on their own.” That framing, notably, does not treat the conservative approach as a pathology.

The study concludes that “these findings have far-reaching consequences for mental health advocacy, and the role mental health identity will play in the political sphere - especially as Gen Z matures as a cohort,” with conservative and specifically Christian beliefs credited as having a stronger track record for producing happiness and well-being than leftist counterparts.

“It is becoming increasingly clear which ideas do what! Conservative, and specifically Christian, ideas have a much better track record than their leftist counterparts,” writes Glenn T. Stanton of Daily Citizen. “This has deep personal and political implications.”

The gender dimension of this divide deserves its own examination. Academic literature going back to the 1970s establishes that women generally report worse mental health than men. A separate body of research establishes that conservatives report greater happiness than liberals. Among young liberal women, both trends converge. Last year, the Institute for Family Studies report found that 37% of conservative women report being “completely satisfied” with life, compared to 28% of moderates and just 12% of liberal women. Young conservative women are more than three times as likely as liberal women to report feeling very happy, and IFS found that “liberal women are two to three times more likely to report they are ‘not satisfied’ with their lives, compared to conservative women.”

The loneliness numbers were just as striking. Among women ages 18 to 40, 29% of liberals reported feeling lonely many times a week. Among conservative women, that figure dropped to 11%. The explanatory variables IFS identified were that young conservative women are far more likely to be married, far less likely to be cohabiting, and nearly five times more likely to attend weekly church services.

IFS concluded that closing the happiness gap “will seemingly require not only a change in thinking but also a renewal of young liberal women’s connection to America’s core institutions - family and faith.” That’s a direct challenge to a progressive framework that has spent years telling young women that traditional institutions are the source of their suffering rather than the solution.

In August 2021, Dr. Anthony Fauci received a U.S. intelligence report suggesting the COVID-19 virus was developed in Chinese and U.S. labs as a bat vaccine, that it leaked from China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology, and that it contained characteristics that would make it resistant to mRNA vaccines. Sen. Rand Paul released the report, printed on DARPA letterhead, on Thursday.

In August 2021, Dr. Anthony Fauci received a U.S. intelligence report suggesting the COVID-19 virus was developed in Chinese and U.S. labs as a bat vaccine, that it subsequently leaked from China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology, and that it contained characteristics that would make it resistant to mRNA vaccines.

The report, authored by Joseph Murphy, a major with the U.S. Marine Corps, and printed on Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) letterhead, was part of a tranche of documents Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) released Thursday as part of his ongoing congressional investigation into the origins of COVID-19.

The documents show that not only did Fauci receive the DARPA report, but that in an Aug. 25, 2021, email to National Institutes of Health (NIH) officials, he called it “important.” “Let us discuss my going down to the White House to review the report,” Fauci wrote.

The document tranche also contained evidence that Fauci cultivated ties with intelligence agencies at least as early as 2003, the same year he received a CIA report warning of the dangers of genetically manipulating coronaviruses.

Fauci later used these intelligence connections to sway the intelligence community to support the zoonotic theory of COVID-19’s origin, the documents show.

The newly released information corroborates the testimony of CIA whistleblower James Erdman before the U.S. Senate last month. Erdman testified that Fauci led a multi-agency cover-up of COVID-19’s lab origins and that his role in the cover-up “was intentional.”

“These documents reveal a breathtaking level of manipulation — official narratives carefully engineered to shape high-level government policy,” said Stephanie Weidle, executive director of federal watchdog group Feds for Freedom. “This is corruption.”

Brian Hooker, Ph.D., chief scientific officer for Children’s Health Defense (CHD), said the revelations sound “more like a plan than a mistake or a ‘leak.’” He said:

“You can’t tell me that the scientists involved didn’t know what the outcome would be. The combination of the human recombinant virus … and a gene therapy ‘vaccine’ that was used to circumvent all other therapies that could have saved lives, created a monster of a virus, as SARS-CoV-2 mutated to stay beyond the reach of the shot.”

Paul released the documents just days after he revealed that he intends to interview Fauci in Congress later this month. In a letter to Paul dated June 9, Sen. Gary C. Peters (D-Mich.) referenced Paul’s “planned transcribed interview of Dr. Anthony Fauci later this month.”

No further information about this interview is publicly available as of press time. The Daily Caller first reported about the forthcoming interview on Tuesday. Sen. Paul’s office did not respond to The Defender’s request for comment.

Fauci accepted proposal for gain-of-function research involving bat viruses

According to the DARPA document (see page 70), dated Aug. 13, 2021, SARS-CoV-2, the virus responsible for COVID-19, “is an American-created recombinant bat vaccine, or its precursor virus.”

It was created at China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology, also known as the WIV, and U.S. institutions with the help of researchers from the EcoHealth Alliance. The virus then leaked from the Wuhan lab in August 2019.

“The details of this program have been concealed since the pandemic began,” the document states, noting, though, that the details match those contained in two research proposals, the DEFUSE proposal and the PREEMPT project.

The EcoHealth Alliance’s DEFUSE proposal involved altering bat viruses by inserting a spike protein with a furin cleavage site, to cause the virus to infect human lungs. PREEMPT involved the cultivation of Egyptian fruit bats.

University of North Carolina virologist Ralph Baric, Ph.D., and Wuhan Institute of Virology researcher Shi Zhengli, Ph.D., submitted the DEFUSE proposal to DARPA in 2017. Although DARPA rejected the proposal, scientists have suggested the rejection didn’t shut down the project.

After DARPA rejected the DEFUSE proposal, the Aug. 13, 2021, report states that DARPA then “settled with NIH/NIAID” — or the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, led at the time by Fauci. According to the report:

“DARPA rejected the proposal because the work was too close to violating the gain-of-function (GoF) moratorium, … despite what Peter Daszak says in the proposal (that the work would not … ).

“As is known, Dr. Fauci with NIAID did not reject the proposal. The work took place at the WIV and at several sites in the US, identified in detail in the proposal.”

Baric and Fauci also closely collaborated with Peter Daszak, Ph.D. — the former president of EcoHealth Alliance, who had financial ties to the Wuhan Lab and played a key role in promoting the zoonotic theory.

In 2024, HHS suspended funding for the EcoHealth Alliance for not monitoring the safety of its coronavirus experiments.

NIH virologist Vincent Munster, Ph.D., also listed as a partner in the DEFUSE proposal, has maintained ties with Daszak and EcoHealth Alliance — including a paper they co-authored in 2022 on Nipah Virus detection in bat roosts.

In April, Baric lost his NIH grants and the University of North Carolina placed him on leave.

Last week, Munster and NIH researcher Claude Kwe Yinda, Ph.D., were charged with conspiring to smuggle biological materials, including deactivated monkeypox virus samples, into the U.S. from Africa — and allegedly lied to authorities about what they were carrying.

‘The story gets complicated’

The SARS-CoV-2 virus was likely intended to be used for a bat vaccine before it leaked from the Wuhan lab, according to the DARPA report. “The purpose of the EcoHealth program, called DEFUSE in the proposal … was to inoculate bats in the Yunnan, China caves where confirmed SARS-CoVs were found,” the report states.

However, the virus “leaked and spread rapidly because it was aerosolized so it could efficiently infect bats in caves, but it was not ready to infect bats yet, which is why it does not appear to infect bats.”

The report suggests that SARS-CoV-2 had characteristics that made it easily transmissible among human populations.

“The reason the disease is so confusing is because it is less a virus than it is engineered spike proteins hitch-hiking a ride on a SARSr-CoV quasispecies swarm. The closer it is to the final live attenuated vaccine form, the more likely that it has been deattenuating since initial escape in August 2019,” the report states.

“A year after DARPA denied this proposal to create chimeric bat viruses at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, a novel bat virus with a furin cleavage site began infecting humans in Wuhan. No other closely related virus has this furin cleavage site,” RealClearInvestigations reported in April.

The documents Paul released contain emails showing that Fauci was aware of concerns about the SARS-CoV-2 furin cleavage site early during the pandemic.

In a January 2020 email thread, Fauci responded to concerns from virologist Kristian Andersen, Ph.D., and immunologist Jeremy Farrar, Ph.D., about the presence of the furin cleavage site.

In a Jan. 31, 2020, email, Fauci wrote, “I just got off the phone with Kristian Anderson and he related to me his concern about the Furine site mutation in the spike protein of the currently circulating 2019-nCoV.”

In a later email related to these concerns, Fauci wrote, “The story gets complicated.”

DARPA: Mass vaccination actually increased risks from SARS-CoV-2 virus

The virus also contained characteristics that made it difficult to treat or prevent with mRNA vaccines, the DARPA report suggested.

“The gene-encoded, or ‘mRNA,’ vaccines work poorly because they are synthetic replications of the already-synthetic SARSr-CoV-WIV spike proteins and possess no other epitopes” — or the part of an antigen that the immune system recognizes.

The report adds:

“The mRNA instructs the cells to produce synthetic copies of the SARSr-CoV-WIV synthetic spike protein directly into the bloodstream, wherein they spread and produce the same ACE2 immune storm that the recombinant vaccine does.

“Many doctors in the country have identified that the symptoms of vaccine reactions mirror the symptoms of the disease, which corroborates with the similar synthetic nature and function of the respective spike proteins.”

The DARPA report suggested that mass vaccination campaigns actually increased the risks from the SARS-CoV-2 virus, in a manner replicating that of gain-of-function research, which increases the virulence or transmissibility of viruses. It stated:

“The potential for SARSr-CoV-WIV to deattentuate requires immediate attention. Live vaccines have been found to deattentuate in the past.

“If this is the case with SARSr-CoV-WIV, then the mass vaccination campaign actually performs an accelerated gain-of-function for it. Since it is designed for bats off of a human-susceptible SARS-CoV, vaccinating humans against it actually gains its function back towards a more deattenuated human-susceptible form.”

For the same reasons, other pandemic-related interventions such as masks would be ineffective in stopping the spread of COVID-19, the report states.

“The reasons why nonpharmaceutical interventions like masks and medical countermeasures like the mRNA vaccines do not work well can be extrapolated from the details. Masks or mRNA vaccines would not work for this material,” said former pharmaceutical research and development executive Sasha Latypova. “It is a chemical aerosol poisoning agent. DARPA knows this well.”

Certain characteristics of SARS-CoV-2 made alternative treatment options, such as ivermectin, more effective in treating COVID-19, the report suggests.

“Many of the early treatment protocols ignored by the authorities work because they inhibit viral replication or modulate the immune response to the spike proteins.

“Some of these treatment protocols also inhibit the action of the engineered spike protein. For instance, Ivermectin (identified as curative in April 2020) works throughout all phases of illness because it both inhibits viral replication and modulates the immune response.

“Of note, chloroquine phosphate (Hydroxychloriquine, identified April 2020 as curative) is identified in the proposal as a SARSr-CoV inhibitor, as is interferon (identified May 2020 as curative).”

Fauci was warned about risks of gain-of-function research in 2003

The documents Paul released this week also shed light on Fauci’s intelligence ties. In 2003, Fauci received a CIA report, “The Darker Bioweapons Future,” warning that “engineered biological agents” could lead to effects potentially “worse than any disease known to man.”

While the CIA report doesn’t mention gain-of-function research by name, it cites several examples of cases where viral transmissibility or virulence were enhanced.

The documents also contain an invitation for Fauci to participate in a July 2021 National Security Council briefing related to then-President Joe Biden’s inquiry regarding COVID’s origins — for which Fauci was exempted from a COVID-19 test.

According to Erdman’s Senate testimony last month, the Biden inquiry — and Fauci’s efforts to cover up the likely laboratory origins of COVID-19 — resulted in the White House publishing an August 2021 report that was inconclusive about the virus’s origins — even though intelligence agencies by then had evidence of a lab leak.

A March 6, 2020, email from then-NIH Director Francis Collins referenced the “Proximal Origin” paper published in the journal Nature Medicine, which found that COVID-19 emerged naturally. The paper was widely used to refute the lab-leak theory. Collins suggested that he and Fauci quietly contributed to that paper.

“FYI, this is work that Tony [Fauci], Jeremy [Farrar] … and I helped with, but are appropriately not mentioned explicitly in the paper,” Collins wrote.

“What came afterwards was information warfare,” said Karl Jablonowski, Ph.D., CHD’s senior research scientist. “The world was convinced the virus had bat origins — yet it did not infect bats.”

“The censorship in the first two years was incredibly heavy,” Latypova said. “Everyone, including currently ‘awake’ outlets like Tucker Carlson, enthusiastically endorsed the narrative of natural origin, and anyone who questioned this as bogus (myself) was kicked off all social media platforms.”

Will Fauci come clean when he testifies?

Rutgers University molecular biologist Richard Ebright, Ph.D., a critic of gain-of-function research, said Fauci has a lot to potentially answer for in his congressional interview — and that Biden’s preemptive pardon of Fauci, issued last year, won’t protect Fauci if he lies before Congress. Ebright said:

“Because Fauci’s autopen pardon covers only federal crimes that Fauci committed before Jan. 21, 2025, it does not protect Fauci from prosecution for lying to Congress in a Congressional transcribed interview or public hearing in 2026. He will not even be able to repeat previous lies with impunity in a Congressional transcribed interview or public hearing in 2026.”

Ebright said Fauci has three options — responding truthfully and “confessing that he committed conspiracy to defraud, fraud, perjury, misuse of federal funds, destruction of federal records and obstruction.” Or he can provide false testimony and risk perjury charges, or feign mental incapacitation and inability to recall.

“Erdman testified before the Senate that Fauci actively worked through the intelligence community’s COVID origin task forces to advance his own agenda and steer … COVID-19 policy,” Weidle said. “These revelations should shock no one. Yet the question remains: will anything actually be done about it?”

The local news reporter noted: “This is not the first study to associate sleeping pills with a higher rate for mortality. Eighteen other studies have also established the link.”

Sleeping pills “stop our brain cells from firing” to get us to sleep.

In the early 2000s, roughly 1 in 5 American adults had a diagnosable anxiety disorder. By 2023, more than half of young adults aged 18 to 26 reported suffering from anxiety. Forty-three percent had experienced panic attacks. A third were already on anxiety medications.

Despite spending $36.8 billion on anxiety and mood disorder care in 2007 alone, the problem has gotten measurably worse with every passing year.

That’s not a treatment failure. That’s a business model.

What They Don’t Tell Us About Anxiety and Benzodiazepine Dangers

To understand why benzodiazepines are so dangerous, you have to understand what they do inside the brain.

The nervous system runs on a balance between stimulation and inhibition. The brain’s primary calming signal—its main inhibitory neurotransmitter—is called GABA. Alcohol, barbiturates, and benzodiazepines don’t directly activate GABA receptors. They amplify GABA’s effect on those receptors.

That distinction matters—a lot.

Here’s why. The brain constantly monitors its own receptor activity. When a receptor is being artificially overstimulated, the brain compensates by making it progressively harder to activate—a process called downregulation. This creates tolerance, which demands higher doses, which deepens the downregulation further.

When the drug is eventually stopped, those now-blunted GABA receptors can’t produce normal calming activity on their own no matter how much you want them to. What fills the void is called withdrawal.

And it can be catastrophic.

This is absolutely not a character flaw in the people that this happens to. It’s the predictable consequence of how the brain protects itself.

But that’s not how medicine responds to that consequence.

This isn’t the first time medicine has run this cycle.

The first barbiturate was discovered way back in 1903. Within a year, medical literature was documenting the “Veronal habit.” But it took until the 1950s for reliable evidence of addiction to accumulate, and until the 1970s for laws restricting their use. That’s a long time.

By 1962, Kennedy’s commission estimated 250,000 Americans were addicted to barbiturates. England had 135,000. Among the overdose deaths: Marilyn Monroe.

The barbiturates weren’t restricted because the evidence finally became undeniable. They were restricted when a replacement was ready.

What They Don’t Tell Us About Anxiety and Benzodiazepine Dangers

When barbiturates became a liability, pharmaceutical companies went looking for a safer alternative. One Roche researcher pursued the problem for years—even after being ordered to stop. In 1956, he found what would become the first benzodiazepine.

Roche recognized immediately it would be a blockbuster.

To get FDA approval, they ran one of the largest clinical trials in history: roughly 20,000 patients. Then they selected 1,163 of them—specifically those who showed no signs of addiction or tolerance—and presented only those results to the FDA.

That cherry-picked dataset won the 1960 approval for Librium.

Roche then hired Arthur Sackler to run the marketing campaign. Sackler arranged for newspapers nationwide to publish favorable stories, placed those publications in doctors’ offices (bypassing advertising regulations), aggressively targeted women’s magazines, and deliberately went after general practitioners rather than psychiatrists—because GPs were far less likely to recognize the drug’s dangers. Psychiatrists already knew what sedatives could do.

Yikes.

By 1963, the follow-up campaign for Valium was underway. Both were, by any measure, extraordinarily successful.

In its first month on the market, Librium generated 1.5 million prescriptions.

It was dispensed for everything under the sun—anxiety, phobias, high blood pressure, ulcers, acne, muscle pain, and headaches.

Even John Kennedy—struggling with back pain from wartime injuries—took it.

By the mid-1970s, benzodiazepines topped every “most frequently prescribed” list in American medicine.

The campaign used to sell Librium and Valium—market a drug as safe and non-addictive, target doctors unlikely to recognize the danger, frame an almost unlimited condition as undertreated—became a template.

Arthur Sackler’s descendants used the same playbook with synthetic opioids. And we all know how that turned out.

Benzodiazepines are now losing their institutional defenders primarily because they’ve gone off-patent. With no financial incentive left to protect them, the consensus is finally beginning to shift.

And that tells you something about where the consensus came from in the first place.

Benzodiazepines cause harm in three distinct, well-documented categories.

Each one is serious on its own. Together, they explain how millions of people who never intended to become dependent ended up trapped for years—some for decades—by a drug their doctor prescribed for anxiety.

Here’s what they actually do:

The first harm is one almost no one is told about: benzodiazepines don’t put you to sleep. They sedate you.

Sedation is not restorative sleep. When benzos suppress the nervous system, they simultaneously block the deep stages of sleep your brain requires to function. Patients who believe they’re finally resting are, physiologically, experiencing all the consequences of chronic sleep deprivation.

Studies have found sleeping pill users are two to five times as likely to die as non-users. One estimate concluded that prescription sleeping pills may have been associated with 320,000 to 507,000 excess deaths in the United States in a single year.

That’s not a side effect. That’s a central feature of how these drugs work.

The second category of harm is what benzos do to the brain over time.

Long-term use creates measurable impairment in processing speed, working memory, sustained attention, and the formation of new memories. About 20.7% of long-term users show cognitive deficits across multiple domains.

Meta-analyses find that long-term use increases the risk of dementia by 51%. That’s huge.

One study documented that in the first three years of use, benzodiazepines create driving impairment exceeding the legal alcohol limit for a DUI. A large study of nursing home residents found benzos increase the risk of falls by 44%. Long-acting benzos increase car accident risk by 45% overall. Commercial drivers are actually legally prohibited from taking them.

There’s also the memory effect many long-term users describe: time moving strangely fast, a dreamlike flow state, an inability to recall what was happening during the years they were on the drug—a phenomenon called anterograde amnesia. Research from 1972 found that regular diazepam doses reduced recognition memory in 90% of women.

The people prescribing these drugs often meet the patient for 15 minutes.

One of the most dispiriting data points in ’s article: a 1979 Senate hearing put the benzo problem on public record—44 million Valium prescriptions, documented dependence, a manufacturer insisting it was safe.

Wait until you see what happened to prescribing rates in the decades that followed.

What They Don’t Tell Us About Anxiety and Benzodiazepine Dangers

Roughly half of all benzodiazepine users experience withdrawal symptoms when they stop or reduce their dose.

About 20 to 30 percent experience rebound—their original symptoms return worse than before they ever started the drug. Around 10 percent go through withdrawals severe enough to be “quite distressing,” and those individuals are 40% more likely to become suicidal during that period.

People who discontinued benzos in one study were found to be 60% more likely to die in the following year.

Tapering takes years.

Doing it too quickly, even slightly, can trigger a backlash that makes stopping even harder.

When benzodiazepines wear off, they don’t simply stop working. The GABA system has been progressively suppressed, and what rebounds mirrors alcohol withdrawal in severity.

Common symptoms include anxiety, insomnia, panic attacks, tremors, heart palpitations, and sweating. Psychological symptoms include confusion, memory problems, hallucinations, paranoia, and depression. Sensory symptoms include tinnitus and a dissociative detachment from reality—a feeling of not quite inhabiting your own life. In the most severe cases: seizures. Which without treatment can be fatal.

For 10 to 15 percent of users, post-acute withdrawal symptoms—anxiety, cognitive impairment, depression, sleep disruption—persist for months to years.

Typically one to two years.

In some cases, five to ten.

Using benzodiazepines for as little as three to six weeks can create the physical dependence that leads to all of this.

Most patients were never told that.

This was all documented publicly in 1979.

At a Senate subcommittee hearing chaired by Senator Edward Kennedy, a Navy psychiatrist testified that patients were becoming addicted to Valium in as little as six weeks. More than 44.6 million Valium prescriptions had been written that year. Kennedy called it a “nightmare of dependence.”

“None of these drugs solve our problems,” the psychiatrist testified. “They make people feel better because they make you feel dull and insensitive.”

The manufacturer of Valium—Hoffmann-La Roche—responded that addiction was “extremely rare” at recommended dosages.

That exchange happened 47 years ago.

After that Senate hearing, benzodiazepine use didn’t decline. It accelerated.

In 1996, 4.1% of American adults had a benzodiazepine prescription. By 2018, 12.6% reported benzo use in the past year. Emergency room visits involving benzo misuse rose 149% between 2004 and 2011.

Overdose deaths climbed from 1,135 in 1999 to 12,499 in 2021.

That’s a 917% increase in 22 years.

Michael Jackson. Heath Ledger. Tom Petty. Prince.

Each of these deaths involved benzodiazepines.

None are fringe cases.

They represent a fraction of the roughly 12,500 people who died from benzo overdoses in 2021 alone.

There’s a structural reason this crisis keeps escalating, and it’s built into the architecture of modern medicine itself.

Appropriate benzodiazepine prescribing requires understanding which specific type of anxiety a patient has, whether benzos are even indicated for that type, what the risks are given the patient’s age and other medications, how to taper appropriately, and how to monitor for dependence over time.

It’s clear as day that none of that is possible in a 15-minute insurance-reimbursed visit.

Many patients were never warned that dependence can develop in only three to six weeks—and that once it does, stopping may be impossible without a years-long tapering process. And many were never told that going even slightly too fast creates a backlash that makes quitting harder.

People end up on benzodiazepines for decades, for conditions the drugs are actively worsening.

A survey of 1,207 benzo users found that 95.3% of those originally prescribed for restlessness developed restlessness as a new drug-induced symptom. For anxiety: 55.6%. For insomnia: 57.5%.

The drug was creating the very problem it was prescribed to treat.

Here’s what almost never gets addressed: anxiety isn’t one disease.

Multiple distinct types exist, each with different root causes and different responses to treatment.

Giving the same medication to all of them makes about as much sense as treating every patient with chest pain identically.

In some cases, benzodiazepines are genuinely appropriate. In others, they make the underlying condition measurably worse.

15 minutes is not enough time to figure that out.

Generalized anxiety disorder often worsens with benzodiazepines, requiring progressively higher doses over time. Cognitive behavioral therapy is far more effective here—and the research supports it clearly.

But panic disorder is different. When panic attacks have a warning symptom before they begin, benzos taken at that moment can be genuinely useful. Without that warning symptom there is minimal benefit.

OCD doesn’t respond to CBT or benzodiazepines at all. It responds to a different therapeutic model entirely.

Social anxiety disorder typically responds best to low-dose beta-blockers rather than habit-forming sedatives.

The 15-minute visit treats all of these as one condition.

What’s driving the anxiety epidemic isn’t purely psychological.

Autonomic nervous system imbalances, reactive hypoglycemia, circadian disruption from artificial light, thyroid disorders, cardiovascular conditions—each of these can manifest as anxiety.

Research on the blood chemistry of 2,800 individuals identified five distinct metabolic patterns underlying depression and anxiety, each with its own treatment profile and its own response to benzodiazepines.

The underlying causes of anxiety are rarely identified in conventional care. When the root cause is left untreated and only the symptom is managed pharmacologically, the condition doesn’t resolve—it deepens.

And the drug prescribed to manage it often accelerates that process.

Barbiturates were documented as addictive within a year of hitting the market—but concerns were suppressed until a replacement was ready. Librium was marketed as safe while cherry-picked trial data won FDA approval and the same marketing family that would later fuel the opioid crisis ran the campaign. A Senate hearing documented a “nightmare of dependence” with 44 million prescriptions—and the manufacturer called addiction “extremely rare.” Prescriptions tripled over the following four decades.

More than 1 in 8 American adults took a benzodiazepine last year. 12,499 people died from benzo overdoses in 2021.

None of this persisted because of ignorance. The knowledge was there. The Senate hearing was on record. The mechanisms were understood. What kept the system in place was that anxious people are a reliable, renewable market—and the most reliable way to keep that market intact is to treat the symptom without ever touching the cause.

The most unsettling part isn’t that this happened. It’s that it’s still happening—and the same structural incentives that drove it are still in place.

When the most common response to human suffering is a drug that produces the very condition it was prescribed to treat, that isn’t medicine failing. That’s something else entirely—and we haven’t yet had an honest reckoning with what it is.

The Death of Kyle Busch: A Case Study in Abject Medical Reporting

“Died of pneumonia” — that’s what the public was told. A 41-year-old elite athlete, wealthy, with access to top-tier medical care, dead within 24 hours of hospital admission. Coughing up blood. Hemorrhaging on a bathroom floor. And the media simply nodded along.

Rob Finnerty’s interview with Dr. Peter McCullough on NewsMax cuts through the polite fiction that has become standard operating procedure in medical journalism. The transcript reveals something far more troubling than a tragic death: it exposes a media apparatus that has abandoned its public health obligations entirely.

The Facts That Demand Explanation

Kyle Busch was not a sedentary, chronically ill man. He was a NASCAR champion — a sport demanding extreme cardiovascular endurance, heat tolerance, and reaction speeds that degrade rapidly without elite fitness. He raced a truck event at Watkins Glen while symptomatic, meaning he was functional enough to compete. Eleven days later, he was dead.

McCullough, a cardiologist with four decades of clinical experience, states it plainly: “I’ve never had a man in his young 40s die in 24 hours of a hemorrhagic pneumonia.” This is not a marginal observation. It is a statistical near-impossibility in the absence of some underlying pathology.

The hospital reportedly never identified the causative organism. No test results for SARS-CoV-2, influenza, RSV, pneumococcus, hantavirus—presumably all tests were negative. The body was cremated before any meaningful investigation could occur — including the autopsy checklist McCullough and Hulscher published in their case report, which specifically tests for vaccine-derived spike protein and mRNA persistence in tissue. McCullough suggested this set of steps for the body of CNN contributor Alice Stewart in 2024—COVID-19 vaccinated and life ending in another mysterious death.

The Parallel That Haunts

McCullough references the Hulscher-McCullough case report — a 47-year-old previously healthy male who died of fatal pulmonary hemorrhage 555 days after his second Pfizer dose. The parallels are striking: sudden onset, profuse oral bleeding, lungs massively congested with blood (right lung 1552g, left 1333g against a normal of ~250–300g each), negative pathogen panels, and a medical examiner who defaulted to “cardiovascular disease” despite no myocardial infarction, no thrombus, and no hypertension history.

That patient received batch EW0175 — ranked in the top 2.8% of all Pfizer batches for reported deaths, with a lethality rate of 1.69% among adverse event reports. The batch was associated with respiratory failure, thrombosis, myocarditis, and cardiac arrest in VAERS data.

Busch’s vaccination status remains publicly unconfirmed, but McCullough’s point is procedural, not speculative: NASCAR, like virtually all major sports organizations during the mandate era, required COVID vaccination. The question must be asked.

Where Is the Inquiry?

Finnerty asks the essential question: “Why are the mainstream medical community, why are they so hesitant to even mention maybe, hey, COVID and those vaccines?”

McCullough’s answer is damning: because asking that question “takes us all the way back to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, where there was so much fraud and deception.” The entire edifice — gain-of-function research, emergency use authorization without long-term safety data, suppression of adverse event reporting, the 5–15 year FDA regulatory window of concern for novel genetic products — becomes unstable the moment anyone looks closely at a single anomalous death.

A secretive Home Office propaganda outfit founded by a former MI6 officer is actively working to control narratives around incidents involving migrants and rising tensions, a bombshell report reveals.

The Research, Information and Communications Unit, or RICU, has been exposed advising police on how to portray protesters and intervening in the aftermath of brutal attacks by migrants to prevent statements that might inflame public anger over mass immigration failures.

This comes as fresh confirmation of suspicions raised after the attack on vulnerable special needs man Stephen Ogilvie in Belfast. Sources now confirm the unit’s role in managing family liaison and messaging in such cases. The pattern fits a broader shift where government “nudge” operations once focused on enforcing COVID compliance have pivoted to shielding open borders policies from scrutiny — and are now being hardened into formal crisis powers.

The Daily Mail reports that RICU was set up in 2007 by the late Charles Farr, a former MI6 officer, under the Prevent counter-terrorism banner. It operates from Home Office headquarters and draws on tactics from the old Information Research Department, the post-war propaganda unit used to counter communist influence.

Its methods include planting media stories, deploying undercover operatives, and shaping online conversations in targeted communities.

Recent operations show the unit extending far beyond its original remit. During unrest in Belfast following the stabbing attack on Stephen Ogilvie by Sudanese asylum seeker Hadi Alodid, RICU worked with the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s C3 intelligence unit.

A source described the effort: “They are working with the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s C3 intelligence unit to identify those posting the online ‘calls to protest’ in Belfast and other areas, as well as giving strategic messages to the police to ensure that the protesters were portrayed as unsympathetic thugs, rather than activists, and effecting behavioural change.”

The same source noted RICU’s involvement with family statements in volatile incidents. “RICU made sure that the liaison team dealing with the family were well briefed.” Another observation: “You can see their fingerprints all over the statements released by the families of victims in these volatile situations – they usually have a similar tone.”

This aligns with what was noted right after the Belfast incident. The family statement released in the wake of the attack on Stephen Ogilvie came across as oddly generic and scripted, using placeholder phrasing such as “our loved one” and quickly pivoting from shock to calls for calm plus emphasis on migrants’ contributions rather than raw, unfiltered grief or pointed questions about what had happened. It did not read like the spontaneous words of devastated relatives.

The Mail also notes that RICU was involved with the aftermath of the murder of Henry Nowak by Vickrum Digwa, again providing strategic input to police handling the family.

The interventions align with long-standing criticisms that RICU applies uneven standards. Sir William Shawcross, in his 2023 review of Prevent, observed: “The bar for what RICU includes on Islamism looks to be relatively high, whereas the bar for what is included on the extreme Right-wing is comparably low.”

The unit has flagged mainstream cultural consumption — watching Michael Portillo’s programmes, reading Shakespeare, Chaucer or Milton, or books documenting grooming gang scandals — as potential indicators of far-Right susceptibility. It even linked Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg to sympathetic audiences.

Professor Anthony Glees described the outfit’s position: “The unit that produced this report is called RICU. It’s based in the Home Office but it’s in that kind of shadowy area between what the Home Office does and what the security service MI5 ought to be doing.”

A Home Office spokesman offered the standard line: “RICU provides analysis on extremist use of propaganda and exploitation of the internet to inform the UK’s counter terrorism system. We cannot comment on its operations.”

The unit has pushed for expanded recording of non-crime hate incidents, measures later scrapped after public backlash over their chilling effect on ordinary speech. It has also claimed that discussion of grooming gangs in Pakistani communities is exploited by the far-Right to stir hatred.

This is not isolated activity. Government narrative management operations have multiplied. A 2025 examination detailed how teams such as the National Security and Online Information Team monitor “concerning narratives” on social media and flag material to platforms for removal, particularly content critical of migration policy during periods of unrest.

An elite police unit tracks anti-migrant posts. Officials stated they make “no apologies for flagging to platforms content which is contrary to their own terms of service and which can result in violent disorder on our streets.”

The same infrastructure that once deployed propagandistic fear tactics to drive mass compliance during the COVID period has been repurposed. What began as emergency messaging around a virus has evolved into tools for managing public reaction to the consequences of sustained high immigration and associated crime.

We have also seen the Prevent apparatus targeted firmly at British people, and even children, who have expressed concern about mass migration.

This apparatus is also now being formalised and expanded under the banner of “crisis response.” In the wake of the Belfast unrest sparked by the attack on Stephen Ogilvie, ministers have moved to give Ofcom sweeping new authority under the Online Safety Act to pressure platforms into rapid removal of content labelled “false information” or inciting disorder during declared crises.

Technology Secretary Liz Kendall announced the government will “lay in Parliament an update to the Online Safety Act requiring services to take quicker action to remove illegal content circulating during times of crisis.”

Ofcom has already issued open letters to platforms citing spikes in content tied to the Northern Ireland events and demanding enhanced, crisis-specific moderation measures — without requiring fresh parliamentary approval.

The definition of “crisis” is deliberately broad, drawing on the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 and covering threats to welfare, security or public order. This builds directly on the informal narrative-shaping RICU has conducted for years, now also augmented by a new £115 million PoliceAI centre equipped with live facial recognition, predictive analytics and automated real-time content flagging.

Former Prime Minister Liz Truss directly addressed the underlying dynamic. She stated that mass migration “is being weaponised to undermine Western civilisation.” Truss continued: “They want to undermine the family. They want to undermine the nation state. And people in Britain are saying ‘we’ve had enough of this.’”

She added that institutions have been corrupted by a DEI mentality focused on group outcomes rather than equal treatment under law, with the response being suppression of discussion and attacks on those highlighting the role of mass migration.

The through-line is clear. Legitimate public concern over policy outcomes — crime rates, community cohesion, strained services — is reframed as dangerous extremism requiring state-managed behavioural change. Protesters become “thugs.” Family grief is shaped into generic calls for calm that emphasise migrant contributions.

Online speech is monitored and throttled. Cultural touchstones are recast as radicalisation risks when they appear on the “wrong” side of the narrative. Now “crisis” declarations provide the trigger to accelerate these controls with regulator muscle and AI tools.

This apparatus operates with minimal transparency and little accountability to elected representatives or the public whose taxes fund it. Critics inside Whitehall have described it as out of control. Its expansion from countering Al Qaeda propaganda into domestic speech management on immigration — and now into codified crisis powers — represents a fundamental shift toward treating British citizens’ unfiltered reactions as the primary threat.

Britain faces real pressures from decades of rapid demographic change and enforcement failures. Honest examination of those pressures does not equate to hatred. Suppressing that examination through coordinated narrative control only deepens distrust and guarantees that underlying problems fester.

Citizens retain the right to discuss the impacts of policy without state operatives scripting responses or directing police to rebrand dissent.

The revelations about RICU and the accelerating “Ministry of Truth” machinery confirm what many already sensed: the tools built for one set of emergencies have been turned inward to protect another set of political choices.

Restoring open debate and accountability requires dismantling these layers of managed perception and returning to straightforward governance that prioritises the security and cohesion of the existing population.

A young woman died tragically in Brazil this week when she was thrown off of a bridge in a sort of thrill-seeking activity, but the workers forgot to attach the rope to her.

This is apparently not bungee-jumping. When it goes right, the person ends up swinging on the end of a rope beneath the bridge.

We did some research beforehand, just to make sure this story was real and sure enough, it’s being reported in various media outlets.

21-Year-Old Brazilian Woman Dead After Bungee Jump Workers Push Her Off Bridge Without Safety Cord

A 21-year-old woman reportedly died Saturday when staff at a bungee-jumping event pushed her from a bridge without her being strapped to a safety rope, dropping her about 130 feet into a ravine.

The incident occurred on the “Skeleton Bridge” in Limeira, in the state of São Paulo. Six people connected to the event have been taken into custody: five men and one woman.

Maria Eduarda Rodrigues de Freitas was carried onto the platform by two men, then shoved from the edge, according to a video of the fall that surfaced online, as bystanders yelled that she didn’t have a rope tied to her and plummeted some 40 meters into a canyon. Medics pronounced her dead at the scene.

Local reports of what happened say that witnesses told Military Police that workers apparently forgot to tie her to a safety cord before pushing her over, said The Sun.

“This Great Deal will bring Peace and Security to the whole Region. Many presidents have tried to make Peace with Iran, and all have failed before me. The Leaders of the Region have, for the first time, found a President who can help them achieve real Peace. With the opening of the Strait upon the signing of the Deal on Friday, for purposes of mine removal, oil will flow on both ends again for the Region, and the World!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

The timing of the peace deal is critical. The world was approaching a dangerous energy cliff, with strategic petroleum reserves being quickly drained to offset lost Gulf production and stabilize physical markets. Still, even with a deal in place, energy flows through the strategic maritime chokepoint will not normalize overnight.

It will likely take several months, if not quarters, to clear the backlog, restore shipping confidence, de-risk insurance markets, and bring regional production and export flows back to pre-crisis levels. As for damaged energy assets such as those in Qatar, it’ll take years to get production back to pre-war levels.

Just 30 minutes before futures open in New York, President Trump announced on Truth Social that a “Deal” with Iran is now complete.

“Congratulations to all! I hereby fully authorize the toll-free opening of the Strait of Hormuz, and, simultaneously herewith, authorize the immediate removal of the United States Naval blockade. Ships of the World, start your engines. Let the oil flow!” Trump said.

Pakistan’s prime minister, Shehbaz Sharif, also confirmed: “that the Peace Deal between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran has been REACHED.”

Sharif said, “The official signing ceremony will be on Friday, 19 June in Switzerland.”

Israeli journalist and Iran affairs correspondent/analyst for Israel’s Channel 14 reports that hardliners in Iran, including IRGC forces, will not derail the peace deal.

With futures in New York set to open momentarily, and with Brent and WTI contracts likely to panic-dump while S&P 500 and Nasdaq futures catch a bid, crypto is soaring to the moon.

President Trump on Truth Social has sought to brush back the Israeli Sunday strikes on Beirut’s southern suburbs, saying this morning’s attack “should not have happened” and given it was on “a special day when we are so close to a Peace Deal with Iran.

He emphasized, “We are very close to a Deal that will bring peace to the region, including to Lebanon, and all sides should stand down.” He warned not just Israel against more attacks, but said Hezbollah must refrain, after the Iran-aligned Shia group sent more projectiles on northern Israel. “This could be the beginning of a long and beautiful peace” he said, and added “let’s not blow it.”

Lebanon’s civil defense agency has indicated that the new attacks on Beirut’s southern suburbs killed at least three people. “The bodies of three martyrs were recovered from under the rubble and six wounded,” the agency announced in a statement.

Iran Weighs In on Anticipated MoU Signing Details, Potential Unresolved Issues

Bloomberg and Reuters are reporting Sunday some fresh details on Iran’s version of what the MoU to be signed - which President Trump says will happen today (albeit remotely) will inlcude.

“A draft of the US-Iran memorandum of understanding included diluting highly enriched uranium within Iran and the release of $25b of Iran’s frozen assets, Reuters reports citing a senior Iran official it didn’t identify,” writes Bloomberg in the latest. This includes:

• Final deal to be discussed in the 60 days following agreement by the two sides

• Also includes Iran immediately reopening Hormuz Strait to all commercial vessels and US lifting its naval blockade

• Tehran in draft agrees ⁠that will neither produce nor acquire nuclear weapons

• To maintain the nuclear status quo until final deal is ⁠reached, including by not enriching uranium and not expanding nuclear facilities

One potential major complication to the two sides actually signing is what’s happening in the Beirut suburbs, which the Israeli Air Force has just struck for the first time in about a week:

Sunday Iran Deal (or rather: MoU Remote Signing) Expected Sunday, per Trump

President Trump said Saturday that an interim U.S.-Iran deal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and wind down the four-month conflict could be signed as soon as Sunday. However, Tehran has pushed back on that timeline, signaling that no final decision has been made while Iranian officials continue to review the terms of a potential memorandum of understanding.

“The Deal is scheduled to get signed tomorrow, and immediately after it is signed, the Hormuz Strait is OPEN TO ALL,” Trump said in a Truth Social post on Saturday, while claiming that Iran “no longer wants a Nuclear weapon.”

The president continued, “At the appropriate time, when all is calm, we will go in and get the Nuclear Dust, buried deep under the powerful sunken granite mountains, thanks to our beautiful B-2 Bombers and their brilliant pilots, and downblend and destroy it, whether in Iran, or the United States.”

Pakistan and Qatar are mediating, with technical talks expected to follow any signing and last up to 60 days. The MOU is structured as a step-by-step framework, meaning the Hormuz maritime chokepoint will reopen first, followed by economic rewards for Iran as conditions are met.

Pakistan’s Sharif Says Deal Imminent; Iran’s Statements More Cautious

Pakistan, which has served as one of the mediators, is preparing to sign the peace deal electronically, followed by technical-level talks next week, according to Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. He said those talks would last two months and focus on Iran’s nuclear program.

Meanwhile, the Iranian media outlet Fars News Agency reported earlier that Iran has not made a final call on a potential MOU with the U.S. Iranian authorities are still reviewing the political, legal, and technical details, with no final decision announced as of Sunday morning.

The urgency behind securing an MOU to reopen the Hormuz chokepoint is clear: the world is drifting dangerously close toward an energy cliff. Strategic petroleum reserves are being drawn down rapidly around the world to offset the loss of Gulf production, while China’s weakening fuel demand is helping to offset some of the broader supply shock.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi made clear Friday that Iran understands that terms related to its nuclear program will be finalized within 60 days of the initial agreement being signed. Iran has long sought to separate the issues of a final end to the war from consideration of its nuclear program.

Energy markets priced in de-escalation last week, with Brent crude futures sliding as much as 5.1% Friday and European gas dropped as much as 8.4% after Trump canceled planned new strikes on Iran.

IG’s weekend markets are pricing in a 50 bps decline in Brent crude when futures open on Sunday evening.

But throughput traffic through the Hormuz chokepoint remains far below pre-war levels, and a vessel was struck off Oman on Saturday. Normalization could take weeks, if not many months.

Bloomberg noted, “Roughly 140 ships passed through the narrow chokepoint each day before the conflict erupted.”

The Trump team needs this conflict resolved quickly, not only to prevent another wave of inflationary pressure in energy markets and avert the world from sliding into an energy cliff, but also to repair the political optics ahead of the midterms.

Karmelo Anthony’s parents used their first interviews after their son’s murder conviction to claim that he had received an unfair trial and that all the witnesses had lied on the stand.

In interviews with CBS News and The Breakfast Club, Kala Hayes and Andrew Anthony, Karmelo’s parents, told the public that they believed the jury had made up their minds before even stepping foot into the courtroom, essentially convicting their son of Austin Metcalf’s murder before any evidence was heard.

“He was convicted when he walked out of the jail,” Anthony told CBS. “It was no innocent ’til proven guilty. He was already guilty.”

They told the story supposedly from their son’s perspective, who said his girlfriend’s cousin had invited him into the tent where Austin Metcalf was. Then they said the same cousin claimed not to know their son when he took the stand.

“He lied and was saying he didn’t even know [him], and they had pictures, pictures with his grandmother,” Anthony told The Breakfast Club.

For Karmelo Anthony’s father, race seemed to be his biggest concern, so far as for him to falsely claiming the jury was all white. “What stuck out to me, No. 1, was the all-White jury,” Andrew Anthony told CBS. The final jury was composed of white, asian, and Hispanic members.

“I mean, all of the witnesses’ statements and stories were inconsistent, so we’re thinking that the jury is going to notice that, but they already had their mind made up when they sat in that courtroom,” Hayes said in The Breakfast Club interview.

“Everyone actually lied,” she claimed in her interview with CBS.

The parents also seemed to try to justify their large online public fundraising efforts.

“Everybody kept saying, ‘Hey, to beat this … you need a white attorney to go out there to fight,” Anthony claimed when the couple spoke with The Breakfast Club. Karmelo’s parents hired a white attorney, who Anthony claimed: “basically tossed [my son] over.”

Mike Howard, a Dallas, Texas-based attorney, represented Karmelo Anthony during the initial trial. However, according to WFAA, Karmelo Anthony asked the judge on Wednesday to appoint him an attorney for his legal appeal, claiming he has no resources or money to retain counsel of his own.

Anthony and Hayes appeared to have little remorse over their son’s actions, or for the grief of the Metcalf family.

“They just… were saying they were robbed,” Anthony told The Breakfast Club. “[Karmelo] didn’t go looking for this.”

Instead of accountability, we are watching billions of dollars being funneled into the same gene-transfer products that have injured, disabled, or killed millions of innocent Americans.

One of the most striking aspects of the awards is that the pediatric contract exceeds the adult contract by more than $230 million, despite children generally facing substantially lower risk from COVID-19 than older adults.

Moreover, Pfizer’s COVID vaccine for children is over $100 less expensive than its adult jab, raising questions about the projected volume of pediatric doses the CDC expects to purchase—and why demand among children would justify a contract substantially larger than the one for adults.

The procurement records provide virtually no explanation for the spending.

The contract descriptions are blank.

No information is provided regarding projected dose quantities, expected demand, effectiveness data, safety considerations, or the rationale for allocating more than $1.24 billion in taxpayer funds toward COVID-19 vaccine purchases over the next two fiscal years.

The awards also suggest that federal COVID vaccine procurement remains a major government priority years after officials declared the emergency phase of the pandemic over and repeatedly characterized COVID-19 as an endemic respiratory virus.

Both contracts were awarded through the CDC rather than a temporary emergency response program, indicating the purchases are being made through the agency’s ongoing public health infrastructure.

An Instagram account with over 10,000 followers has posted what appears to be a sickening act of grave desecration aimed at the family of Texas teen Austin Metcalf after Karmelo Anthony’s conviction for his murder.

The user behind the Instagram account @onebigrichfolkz74, an aspiring rapper, posted a photo of himself standing over Metcalf’s grave plaque and appearing to urinate directly onto it.

In a reply to a comment from someone claiming that they would have defecated instead, the user wrote, “ima go back tomorrow n diarrhea on dat bitch afta takin some laxatives.”

The deranged lunatic captioned the photo, “I woke up and chose violence,” and “FREE #KarmeloAnthony.”

Over 10,000 people “liked” the post in less than 12 hours.

The grave marker in the photo matches Metcalf’s, but it is unclear if the photo is authentic or AI-generated.

Even if AI-generated, the intent is to mock, desecrate, and terrorize the memory of a murdered 17-year-old while celebrating his killer.

The original poster has been continuously sharing images of others appearing to urinate on Metcalf’s grave in his stories.

Most of them admit, or claim, that their images are AI.

Posts sharing screenshots of the disgusting posts and tagging law enforcement are spreading like wildfire on X.

Desecrating a grave crosses serious lines under Texas law. Even creating and distributing realistic images depicting it may be a criminal offense.

The primary statute is Texas Penal Code § 42.08, which makes it illegal for anyone, without legal authority, to knowingly disinter, disturb, damage, or treat a human corpse in an offensive manner. It also criminalizes vandalizing, damaging, or treating in an offensive manner the space where a body has been permanently laid to rest, meaning the grave itself.

Damage or offensive treatment of the grave space itself is typically charged as a Class A misdemeanor, which can result in up to one year in county jail and fines up to $4,000.

While physically urinating on or damaging Metcalf’s grave would clearly violate this statute, creating and distributing realistic images, whether AI-generated or edited, depicting such an act falls into a grayer area.

The Abuse of Corpse law focuses on physical interference with remains or gravesites rather than the creation or online sharing of images.

That said, posting such content, especially amid ongoing death threats and harassment directed at the Metcalf family, could still support charges under Texas harassment statutes or open the door to civil claims for intentional infliction of emotional distress.

This disgusting act comes just one day after Gateway Pundit reported that Metcalf’s grieving family has been inundated with death threats and hateful messages, some threatening to desecrate his grave, since Anthony’s sentencing on Tuesday.

Messages obtained by TMZ included taunts that Austin’s twin brother Hunter, who held Austin as he bled to death, “should have died” and that he had “f-cked around and found out.”

A mob of Anthony supporters even followed and verbally assaulted the Metcalf family outside the Collin County Courthouse after sentencing, with chants of “We glad Austin’s dead!”

Anthony, a black former Centennial High School football player, stabbed Metcalf in the chest with a knife during a rain delay at a high school track meet at Kuykendall Stadium in Frisco, Texas, on April 2 of last year.

Metcalf had been asking Anthony to leave his team’s tent, where he did not belong. The killer refused and grew increasingly confrontational in the lead-up to the murder.

Austin Metcalf’s identical twin brother, Hunter, was present at the meet and witnessed the stabbing.

Hunter held his brother as he died despite efforts by first responders. The twins were described as inseparable teammates, coworkers, and best friends, making the loss especially devastating for the Metcalf family.

The convicted murderer claimed he acted in self-defense after being confronted and bullied, but multiple eyewitnesses, video evidence, and testimony presented during the eight-day trial told a different story.

The jury found Anthony guilty of murder on Tuesday.

Anthony has been sentenced to 35 years in prison, but could potentially be free in 17 years with good behavior. His legal team has already filed an appeal.

A UK Biobank study involving over 470,000 people found that individuals who reported using sunscreen more frequently had substantially higher risk of multiple skin cancers — even after researchers accounted for major confounding factors like age, sex, skin type, tanning ability, sunburn history, sunlamp use, and time spent outdoors.

The findings are worrisome:

• MELANOMA: +292% higher risk (RR = 3.92)

• BASAL CELL CARCINOMA: +140% higher risk (RR = 2.40)

• SQUAMOUS CELL CARCINOMA: +126% higher risk (RR = 2.26)

The researchers categorized sun protection habits from “never/rarely” to “always” and found the strongest associations among the most frequent sunscreen users.

In other words: the more sunscreen use reported, the higher the observed skin cancer risk.

This was an observational study, meaning it cannot prove sunscreen directly caused cancer. However, the study was also not a simplistic comparison of random sunscreen users versus non-users. Researchers statistically accounted for many of the biggest known skin cancer risk factors — including skin color, hair color, tanning ability, childhood sunburns, tanning bed exposure, outdoor time, age, and sex.

Even after all of that, the association remained.

Many chemical sunscreens contain hormone disruptors that are rapidly absorbed into the bloodstream, including compounds like oxybenzone, octocrylene, and homosalate.

Some formulations have also been found contaminated with benzene, a known human carcinogen.

And then there is the vitamin D issue. Sunlight is how the human body produces vitamin D, a hormone precursor involved in immune regulation, cellular repair, inflammation control, and cancer defense. People who never receive sunlight exposure without sunscreen are likely to become vitamin D deficient.

That does not mean people should recklessly burn in the sun. Sunburns are clearly harmful. Aim for sensible sunlight exposure — spending enough time in the sun reap the benefits without reaching the point of burning. If you’ll be out in the sun for hours on end during mid summer, consider opting for zinc-based (mineral) sunscreens rather than heavily absorbed chemical formulations.

The takeaway is not to fear sunlight, but to respect it.

An experienced airline pilot claims he faced retaliation for opposing the COVID-19 shot, which he believes undermined personal liberties and aviation safety across the industry. He contends that these matters should be investigated as facts about the so-called vaccine and surrounding policies continue to emerge.

The Gateway Pundit spoke to Captain Bahig Saliba, a pilot who dedicated over 27 years to American Airlines. He opposed the airline’s policies and practices that were implemented during the declared pandemic. That led him to initiate pro se legal action against the airline and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) beginning in 2022, alleging retaliation and federal aviation law violations.

Saliba expressed concern regarding the infringement of personal liberties and aviation safety, noting that retaliation manifested in various forms, including a demand by American Airlines for a fitness for duty examination without any reason given, even when Saliba had an impeccable record.

Saliba emphasized that federal agencies must adhere to the Administrative Procedures Act (APA), which outlines the processes for rulemaking. “However, under the sovereign immunity umbrella,” he said, “agencies possess a wide range of discretion in rule and decision making.” With this discretion, he remarked, “agencies may not violate the law, but they often do.”

He argued that the FAA’s Federal Air Surgeon, Dr. Susan Northrup, wields the most discretion of all within the agency. She has the authority to medically certify pilots and air traffic controllers as well as to issue FAA medical certificates, he explained, adding, “that authority includes the prohibition or authorization of medication for use by holders of such certificates.”

“While the FAA medical certification is a civilian branch of government,” Saliba pointed out that “the U.S. military also benefits from the FAA expertise and authority in the field of aviation medicine.”

“The medical certification is not a simple visit to an FAA Aeromedical Examiner (AME) for a physical checkup,” the former airline pilot disclosed. Rather, it is a legal process detailed by Northrup herself in the video below.

“The FAA pilot medical certification process is an honor system safeguarded by Title 18 of the United States Code (18 U.S.C.),” Saliba shared. “This is critical because all health declarations pilots make are to be trusted by the people they carry.”

For Saliba, this raises a critical question. “Does a coerced medical treatment, under threat, produce a coerced and illegal declaration by the pilot receiving such treatment?” His answer to that question is “Yes, it breaks a link in the safety chain in aviation.”

He added, “The definite adverse side effects of the shots, as advertised by the manufacturers, which include blood clotting and heart complications, may permanently ground pilots; thus, pilots are less likely to declare such conditions, while they continue to fly, for fear of losing their medical and their livelihood.”

“Historically, for safety reasons,” Saliba said, “the FAA does not consider any medication that has not been fully FDA approved for at least 12 months.”

However, in the case of the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) drugs, the FAA moved quickly and granted approval for their use immediately after receiving FDA approval.

Saliba shared that many, including Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI), who is an outspoken critic and an advocate for EUA-injured pilots, have raised a legitimate safety concern regarding why and how the FAA acted so swiftly, deviating from standard procedures.

“The FAA has never officially stated the true reason for the EUA authorization; however, in an interview given by Northrup shortly after she became the Federal Air Surgeon on January 17, 2021,” he said, “the reason for such authorization was revealed.”

Northrup disclosed that “…the office of Aerospace medicine had never approved a medication or treatment that was not fully approved by the FDA for at least a year. However, given the critical nature of attaining herd immunity, to date we have approved three vaccines approved by the FDA under Emergency Use Authorizations…”

Northrup’s statement was “explosive” because, according to Saliba, “the FAA does not have agency authority granted in the law to ‘attain herd immunity’ (emphasis mine).”

“It is in fact quite the opposite. The FAA’s goal, for safety reasons, is to limit or guide the use of drugs by pilots as best it can, and the medical certification process does not lend itself to attaining herd immunity, he explained.”

“While herd immunity remains a subject of debate,” Saliba contended, “the FAA exceeded its authority; therefore, the EUAs have been unlawfully authorized and thus illegal.”

“A court ruling that finds the FAA did indeed exceed its authority requires the court to strike the authorization of the EUA drugs, which will send a shockwave in the airline industry, and the air traffic controller ranks and possibly the military.” That Judicial Review Case No. 26-1042 is currently at the D.C. Court of Appeals.

In late 2023, Saliba also filed an FAA safety complaint regarding airline pressure on pilots to use the EUAs, which included the use of Johnson & Johnson between April 19, 2021, and December 23, 2022. “Following reports of rare but serious blood clotting in the brain,” he said, “the FDA suspended the J&J for a short time, but the FAA followed the pause recommendation for the longer period.”

“The FAA Office of Audit and Evaluation initiated an investigation that was immediately shelved by Northrup,” said the former commercial pilot. He added that Northrup’s refusal to investigate generated the first Mandamus lawsuit. A Mandamus is the legal mechanism to compel the FAA to perform non-discretionary duty. Currently, Case No. 25-3884, is pending before the Ninth Circuit on appeal.

“Striking the EUA authorization and compelling the FAA to investigate may allow injured pilots and air traffic controllers to find remedy and vindicate those who refused to use these drugs,” Saliba concluded.
